It doesn't really have an 'aim' as such. It's just a religion. Certainly it wants to convert people, because its followers believe that otherwise they will go to Hell.

Well, in my own words then the aim of Islam is to be the best follower of Allah and serve him the best way you can by following the Quran. It is a wonderful and peaceful religion.
Check out this site. It's very good in explaining Islam.

The Letter(Law) Killeth: 2Corinthians3.
"Law worketh Wrath": Romans 4:15.
Wrath(Law) is destructive, not constructive.

His Grace is constructive, not destructive(law).
"Grace unto you"... "from God our Father".
God(Grace) hath not appointed us unto wrath:1Thes 5:9.

Sacrifice? It's what God will "not" have:
"I will have mercy, and not sacrifice";
and the "not" part is not then, now, ever:
Ps 40:6; 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; Heb 10.

Do the will of God precedes receive the promise.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
