Absolutely. I applaud you for knowing what you believe. I don't think religion necessarily defines him correctly, however. I think it puts far too many limitations on "him." Trying to understand God by giving him human characteristics, while it may be the only way we have to relate, is dangerous. I have a personal relationship with God, but I think it is important to remember that He is beyond our comprehension. I was not raised Catholic and am not now, but I LOVE the teaching, "The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever." That is the only religion I personally need. The details don't mean much to me. I think one of the greatest forms of worship is to enjoy life - doing nothing to hurt others or yourself. Lets be grateful for the things we have!

I believe god comes in many shapes, colors and textures, and I am not mocking the supreme and real God who is out there somewhere we will never find, actually, but I believe people have a thing here on earth about that cult personality thing, we make gods out of people, celebrities, and we idolize them without recognizing that there is someone up there watching us all. I have yet to see this world change for the better, but the devil is running the show, and God wants to see who we will choose to serve. So, yes I don't only believe in God, I know there is a God who put this thing in order along with the solar system in which this earth is but the size of a speck in this Milky Way (as it is called) solar system, and when I think about how that solar system is put together? Wow, it really humbles me. A final thought for consideration is how the heavens has many more solar systems out there aside from the one we are a part of, and I'm not talking about a few hundred solar systems with billions and billions of stars each solar system has, but what is awesome is that there is vast infinite space out there where we will never reach nor fully understand, but it is all God's home, wow, and to top it off, there are who knows how many angels out there that live with God and who assist God in watching over all of us, Peace and amen.

No, I don't believe in God. I used to when I was a child, but when I was about your age, I really began to think on a deeper and more complicated way about the world around me, and religion didn't explain things well enough for me anymore. And when I took philosophy class as a college freshmen, I fully realized how impossible and logically fallacious most God concepts are.

I believe in every God out there.
But then...I also believe the so called "Gods" are probably aliens in outter space. The idea of religion probably started as a way to calm the crowd and gain power by authority figures in ancient human history, so in another words, I believe most of 'em are made up. But someone had to create all these living matter that we see today, so my answer is aliens~ :) Which would make 'em the creators, and thus..Gods.
-personal opinion, please do not be offended.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Why do people who say no get a thumbs down? I mean they're answering the question truthfully....oh wait, is it because it's not what someone else wants to hear?
