If Jewish people hate VWs because it is the peoples car then why?

Why do they drive Mercedes Benzes which was the car Hitler chose to drive around in?

Many don't drive either. Israel has Mercedes because they send them there as reparations for slave labor, and genocide (if I recall, the actual company was stolen from Jewish owners), VW did not think that slave labor from the war was something they had to repay.

It's my understanding that Jewish folks typically don't drive around in or support car companies that used Jewish slave labor in their factories during WWII.
