So, we could have a man around so we could say...... "honey do this, honey do that"... LOL
Does it really matter which gender was made first and why? What's the point of this trivial question?

This was in keeping with the notion of a fathership of creation, just as God is the Father of all things. Men are intended to be the head of a family and all of God's creation. Just as Christ stated he was second to the Father, thereby affirming the notion of a hierarchical relationship, so were man and woman created in the same order.

He was working toward a Hermamorphdite and just couldn't get it together right. So, He spilit it apart and threw out the rib story to keep all the descendents confused. That explanation would answer a lot of questions about sexuality, don'tcha know.

That might have been a typo, or maybe the people (Men) that wrote the bible wanted men to come first in everything, even creation.
just another way to make themselves better then woman.

well actually first the earth, then the plants then the animals, he then needed someone to take care of it all, he made a human...
the human needed a companion, and thus we came in, there is no other point to men being first, it is just that way.
