Train of thought -- "How can people deny evolution when the evidence is so apparent? ... Is there anything equally as visable that I'm refusing to acknowledge? ... Does everyone deny what's right in front of them? ... How can we discover what we don't want to?"

Apparently that old serpent was really up to something whe he said "you don't really die, you'll be as the gods". body+spirit=soul, but the serpent wants us all to confuse the soul with the spirit of life. When we die, what ever spirit we were possesed by leaves (such as a demon), but it's not to be confused with yourself.

So,I've been pagan a few years now (an eclectic)...but I'll be doing my first ritual (with the guidance of a much more experienced practioner,of course) this saturday. ...Unfortunately,I can't find a single acorn or oak leaf to help me out. ...and while I've not asked the other girl involved in this,I can't seem to find any -good- substitutions for the 'male' side of the whole bit (Goddess I've got down, all three faces, even). We've got pinecones by the thousands... even magnolia seed pods, but there's not an acorn or -real- oak leaf to be seen. Help would be fantastic.

Any 'bashers'? Feel free to tell me I'm going to hell or whatever you like. ^^ I long ago learned how to forgive your descrepancies against me and the others that follow a different path from you.

Is it just me or as a humankind has been playing God lately. Last month the congress voted a disaproval of Stem Cell Research. But now the Stem Cell Research is totaly funded by local people and they have made incriable break throughs this year.

We have been able to harness nature and off setting the balance between death and setting a line between reality and fiction.

So, Are we playing God as a human race?

Some people seem scared...like if they will turn into frogs or something...if u are an atheist and sure about it...no prob
if u are christian and sure about it...no prob...
So? if they are open minded and logical thinkers...what is gonna happen?? dear to read it, there is nothing to be scared about.

If 99.99% of atheists base their beliefs on a complicated theory, such as the sponaneous formation of life, for example, but cannot fully explain how this theory works or how it disproves God, are they really more intelligent than the Christians they have a fixation with? Aren't they just putting their faith in articles about other peoples work and trusting that these past experiments were conducted in an honest and reputable way? Sounds very similar to what they claim Christians do. Are they just misguided or hypocritical people that defend pseudo-scientific experiments?

My family is Christian they go to church a lot and i was wondering if i don't believe in some stuff thats in the bible does that make me bad or something like for example I believe that humans evolved from monkeys but the bible says we didn't. In the bible it says something about having an abortion and that its bad and stuff and you shouldn't get abortions, but i think its the mothers choice and i don't think abortions are bad. Sooo... my question is: Is it bad to not follow certain things in your religion?
