God loves the individual, however, their behavior and life choice will lead them into bondage that will harden their hearts to God's eternal salvation. Why they choose it is immaterial. However, because Homosexuality involves so much emotional investment, it is almost impossible to tell the them the truth without being labeled with very harsh epithets.

Remember, the sin of homosexuality is no blacker than my sin. And if the Christian truly hated homosexuals, they would keep the message of salvation to themselves, not try to change them, and let them go on their merry way to destruction. But because we care, we take the slings and arrows of 90% of the media and public to speak the truth. Hopefully with love and salt.

The Bible states that homosexuality is behavioral, for Paul states that many of the new believers had been delivered from homosexuality in

1 Corinthians 6:9-11,

Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

If it were a genetic thing, then the Bible would not have shown that some were delivered. Your argument is with the Bible. If you do not believe the Bible, then your concern is moot. If you believe the Bible is the Word of God, then it states that you can be born again, transformed by the renewing of your mind, washed and cleansed.

I dont know I dont get it either. Homesexuality is a choice. I see most answerers on here dont know that. They have taken twins and one will be gay and the other not. Which is one of the many ways the experts can tell its a choice and not born that way. Which explains why so many who have failed marriages choose to turn that way. There is treatment for it. Its a step by step program which takes a little less than a year to finish. Its not natural. The Bible even is against it. A man shall not lay with another man the way he lays with a women. Peace out................

I doubt there is any truth in the belief that people choose to be Gay. It must be that people are most comfortable with their sexuality as a gay person. Hence they feel the need to declare themselves as Gay to be able to live the way they know to be best in their experience.

You are right, people are not born gay it's a personal choice. If God knew people were born that way He wouldn't have condemned it in the Bible. In God's eyes this lifestyle is wrong and it's very clear in the scriptures for all to see. I have meet people that used to be gay until they read in the Bible that it was wrong and they prayed about it and changed their ways. God will help people if they really want to change.

Nobody chooses to be among the most hated group in the world, trust me. Nobody sits around thinking, "Gee, I want to consciously love someone of the same sex and put myself at risk of having the excrement beat out of me by some ignorant, cruel person and possibly be killed or just horribly treated and have many of my human rights denied to me by arrogant, ignorant relgious groups and people." It just doesn't work that way.

Perhaps it would be of benefit for you to consider why it is that you think they're so "weird" and why it "ticks you off" so badly... sounds like a personal problem that would be well served by such consideration and study.

Most people don't choose o be gay. I'm almost on the fence myself, so if I really wanted to, I could choose to be [Of course, I am in an odd position in my own regard]

And what's wrong with it? Is what other people do in private of detriment to you?

There are so many different "exuses"
Most gay people that i have met have a lot of hatred for their fathers and were a "momma's boy" all growing up. So when they reach puberty and asked themselves.."am i gay" , they appear to be so since the stereotype is identical.
The whole "its not a choice thing" lol, i dont believe it.
People choose thier fate.

What gives you the right to judge them?? It's a chemical inbalance in their brains. They don't choose it. I haven't met one gay person wish that they weren't like that. It's not a choice to them it's just the way they are. I hate when people judge people based on who they like or date. They don't deserve what they get. I know a really sweet guy who's bi and someone made a myspace calling it the "We hate Steven fan club" that's not right.

Did you choose to be straight? No. Gays and lesbians did not choose to be that way, they are born that way.

If you get ticked off about it, it's your problem.

I doubt they choose it. And people are always afriad (or hateful/distrusting/etc.) of what they don't understand. You obviously don't understand it, which is why you call them weird and get ticked off. Alot of people think it's weird that there are still people out there who are predjudice against other people for silly reasons.
