He's only 30 and is a Christian. He reads his Bible which has helped him of course, but I'd like to give him something else to read to help encourage him during this trying time for him and his wife. They never got to have children before he got sick and they want them so badly.

So Jesus had a "partner" and descendants just like Da Vinci Code speculated.

If as they claim that they are Gods organisation on Earth, why did Jehovah not tell them that for over forty years they were celebrating a pagan festival.

If you're having a tough time in life right now or you just need someone to talk to, i know someone that can help. This isn't exactly a question, but advice. You don't have to do this but if you want to just keep reading and hear me out. Certain things in life can make us feel really bad and down. Sometimes they make us want to do stupid things, but you don't have to. If you're looking for guidance or just some help, just turn to God. You don't have to be religious or anything and you don't have to go to church everyday. Just talk to Him. No one will know what you are talking about; it'll just be between you and the Lord. Please just give a try. If you want to, all you have to do is close your eyes and just start talking. It can be out loud, or in your mind and you don't even have to close your eyes. Just talk to Him. He'll listen.

*note: please don't make rude comments or anything, i'm not trying to force people to do anything, i'm just giving them another option and some advice.

Does it scare you? Do you wonder what it will really feel like? Do you wonder what you'll see or hear at that time? Do you think it'll turn out to be what you believe in now, or totally not what you were expecting at all?

Does anyone really truly think about it? Does it bother anyone to think that there's NOTHING you can do about it? To all those who argue against each other about what you believe and don't believe, and who thinks who is right, I guess death will be the great equilizer because believers, non-believers, and all in-betweeners will all die eventually. The funny thing is, no one who dies will be around to answer the questions for those still living. It's pretty eerie when you think about it...I mean REALLY think about it. It's the one thing in life we absolutely have no control over. PERIOD. Weird, huh?

I can't find anywhere in the bible passage lookup sites on the web that it talks about reincarnation. A guy from school wants to know if it's real or false. HELP.

I think that the existance of an afterlife would take away the preciousness of life itself, as there would be no limit to our life that makes it so valuable. Am I right? Give me your thoughts.

This is simply NOT true. NONE of us here on the prison planet know what the truth is. We simply speculate and put our trust in feelings and not facts.

I dont believe in "God" but say (this is purely an example) i was baking a cake, and i was wishing and hoping it turned out well. And "God" heard me, would he make my cake turn out bad? Or would he just leave me alone. Could he sort of reverse it on me, because i dont believe, and make what i didn't want to happen...happen?

People say "god" answers prayers, does he only answer prayers directed at him? If this is so, why does he not feel compassion for people who wish and hope for good things to happen, even though they dont believe?

What does being a Pagan mean to you? What does Paganism mean to you? I mean in terms of your daily life. I just want to know what it means to you. Also how many different forms of Paganism are there? And what are the beliefs of them? What are the differences if any at all? What are the similarities if any at all? And if you feel like it what is Paganism? I know that this might be a pretty broad or even vague question but it requires broad and vague answers so to speak. I will apologize in advance if I annoy you with my questions.

What is your motivation to act morally and ethically, when there is no judgement or reward for your actions? I was wondering because it seems that Christians are motivated by the reward of heaven, and I can only think of limited motives for Atheists to behave morally.

How would be the other side?
Where would you go, or would you be taken? Heaven, purgatory, hell, emptiness?
Would you meet relatives, friends, Jesus, Allah, Buddha...
Would you be doomed or blessed?
Then how would be your life in this place? Would it be almost like here, job, neighbors, cities..? Or in the hell, something like fire, torture, devils...
Anyway, tell me what do you believe is gonna happen!
