Does it scare you? Do you wonder what it will really feel like? Do you wonder what you'll see or hear at that time? Do you think it'll turn out to be what you believe in now, or totally not what you were expecting at all?
Does anyone really truly think about it? Does it bother anyone to think that there's NOTHING you can do about it? To all those who argue against each other about what you believe and don't believe, and who thinks who is right, I guess death will be the great equilizer because believers, non-believers, and all in-betweeners will all die eventually. The funny thing is, no one who dies will be around to answer the questions for those still living. It's pretty eerie when you think about it...I mean REALLY think about it. It's the one thing in life we absolutely have no control over. PERIOD. Weird, huh?

No one who dies will be around to answer the questions for the dead either.
Death is nonexistence, and it shouldn't bother you, because you'll never actually experience it. Eons of time passed before you were born, and it didn't bother you. Likewise, eons of time will pass after you die, and it won't bother you, cause you won't be around to be bothered.
As long as you exist, death doesn't. And when death exists, you won't -- so you're never going to actually experience death, just everything leading up to it.

You will find that as you enter the death, you come out, and the death changes nothing. If you understood this, this understanding would point your life in a straight line. So, what you don't overcome in this age will still control you in the next age. Knowing this right now sets you free to find what you need to overcome things that just can't be.

I think of death every day. It can make life seem pointless at times.
whats the point of living a life if you're just going to die. But then comes the bible people. preaching the word. which USED to make me afraid, but not anymore. I grew up. But as a kid. my parents and other christians made death 100 times more scary. perfect material to be filling you child's head with. eternal suffering. burning forever.
I continue to fear death mostly because of those people that planted the thought of damnation in my head. most people , I believe, fear death and like to make others afraid. make them feel how they feel. Everyone is afraid of the unknown. of what happens to those who leave this place and never come back. it is in our nature to fear. planted in us. and what can we do about it?
well you can go start going to church and pretend to believe in things. but in all reality you're just trying to save your *** from the fire. I believe a good percentage of christians dont actually take their religion seriously. they just hope god will see that they're on "his side". so that he wont send them to hell. I'm rambling on and on and should shut up. my point was um well what ever you make it out to be . good luck to you all with the fear. and I'll see you when its all over.

I fervently wish that everyone could see inside my mind and know what I know and see what I have seen. They would not be doing or saying half of the stuff they do.

the only thing that scares me about dying is the fear of immense pain. i would much like to die painlessly in my sleep. then i would have nothing to fear.
