With a grain of sand. It is not true.

...With great skepticism, and it should be rejected.
...The question really should be, as a Christian, how could I accept the concocted notion that Jesus had a wife and a son?
...When did it become a fact? Since some Hollywood director and a couple of archaeological dreams made it up?

First of all, why would you believe this so called fact. Just because someone says they found the bones of Jesus and His family doesn't make it so. Many are disputing this recent claim by James Cameron. The Bible never tells us that Jesus married and had a family. If you allow people to cause you to mistrust the Bible it will slowly chip away your faith. Until folks without a doubt I would not jump the gun. In these last days you need to stand firm in your faith.

It is not a fact.... that Jesus had a wife and son.... it is a theory. It is being pushed by a hollywood film maker who likes to make money. Don't buy into their lies designed to make them lots of $$$$$. Trust the Bible... it is tried and true. If Jesus had a wife, the Bible would have said so. If he had a son, it would have said so... but it was not a part of the plan of God. Jesus came to die and give his life, not to have a family. His purpose was to become a sacrifice, not to do like all the rest of mankind. He came to bring life.

As a Christian (as you claim), you already know that the facts are that Jesus did NOT have a wife or a son. His time spent on earth was not in pursuit of his own desires, it was an assignment from his God and Father. A Christian would not give any credibility to the absurd notions that Jesus had a wife and son.

you don't. because he didn't. Let's not be gullible. People in the Middle ages sold hundreds of thousands of pieces of the supposed true cross of Jesus. Now somebody states he has found the bones of Jesus, his wife, and his child. From a purely secular point of view, there is absoultely no reason to take such claims seriously. I mean if someone presented us with "Caesar's bones" just because it was written "Julius" on a box, we wouldn't take it very seriously.
From the christian standpoint, we believe Jesus rose from the dead, and left an empty tomb.

Dont believe everything Hollywood tries to sell you. There were several "Davinci Code" dvds out long before "the movie" came out. The movie is totally made up...the whole story...if you watch the documentary on the Davinci Code (previous dvds) you will see that there is a lot of speculation and that is really all they have to draw upon.

Now they're trying to sell you on the notion that they found Jesus, Mary and Joseph's bones...please...everybody and their mother/brother was named that in those days...it's a pile of crock meant to discredit Christianity...people will buy it all these days, they are just so gullible.

If Jesus had a wife and a son, they would have been mentioned either in the Bible or in some ancient text, as His mother, Mary and step-father, Joseph and grandparents: Anna and Joachim, and cousin John the Baptist and his mother Elizabeth and father, Zechariah, were.

Deny it, or ignore it until it goes away. :P

Of course, I'm joking.

At any rate, if you believe he didn't, just stay firm in that belief. If they come up with undeniable proof, then accept it and move on. Jesus being mortal just means that you have yet to see the third facet of God and that your savior doesn't have a face you recognize. * shrugs *

(Shinto point-of-view, so ask your priest before spewing this out at a mass, or whatever it is your Christian folk do nowadays. :P)

You don't. It is not true. The Bible says that Jesus did not have a home and he relied on other people give him a place to sleep. And he wouldn't have been able to continue that if he had a wife and kids.

My suggestion is .. read Galatians ch1...it starts: grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ... v6 says, i am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel, which is really no gospel at all...evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

Listen to your heart, and make "sure what you heard in the beginning stays in you."..can't remember where this text is but it's a good one....(might be in Gal)
Grace and peace brother..or sister..
