Is it just me or as a humankind has been playing God lately. Last month the congress voted a disaproval of Stem Cell Research. But now the Stem Cell Research is totaly funded by local people and they have made incriable break throughs this year.

We have been able to harness nature and off setting the balance between death and setting a line between reality and fiction.

So, Are we playing God as a human race?

No, just using the brains God gave us. Actually, what Congress voted was not to fund stem cell research, so they have found private funding.
Many Christians have moral concerns about stem-cell research: for instance, might abortions be done for the purpose of this kind of research? Or would this involve cloning of humans? Personally, I think the answer needs to be "yes" to either of these questions, but I still don't know enough about it to really judge well.

I don't know but, I think the problem with stem cell research is not so much in the actual stem cell research but, Embryonic stem cell research. I read somewhere that the Anti- Christ could be a clone.

Man has been instilled with the desire to explore and make our lives better through scientific discoveries. Why try to stop the inevitable? Science makes our lives better. Period.
