Okay, it's grain of salt time......this is a bit of a stretch, but really we need some loosening up on the gay folk.

"Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord. But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." (Jeremiah 31:31-33)

"though I was their husband, says the Lord."

Now it has been assumed by the fact that man was created first, has a better go in the Bible then women, and everyone (except hippies) calls God a he when assigning gender that God should recognize humans see him as a man. Even Jesus said he was his father.

From a christian standpoint, premarital sex is all the same right? You can't technically commit adultery until you're married right?
Sex with your girlfriend is just as bad as having sex with a stranger, even if you have a girlfriend?
(Unless you have sex with a married person, but I'm not talking about that)

I'm not a christian, but I would like verification on this.

I mean I can spot a few pretty much everyone has broken. This is God's will, and God's will never changes. I've been told that Jesus fulfilled these.....that doesn't really make sense to me.....fulfilled how?

Creationist Method of investigation

1. Start with a Conclusion

2. Propose Theory.
Only theories that support the conclusion should be considered. Little or no attempt should be made to test or disprove the proposed theory.

3. Collect Supporting Evidence
One single example of supporting evidence is sufficient, even if there are thousands of examples of evidence that do not support or contradict the theory. Only "supporting" evidence is considered.

4. Reject Modify or Retain Evidence.
If the evidence is undeniably proved to be faulty, then reject it and find some evidence that does support the Theory. The Theory is not normally rejected at this point because only one example of supporting evidence is required to justify the theory. Contradictory evidence is ignored.

If forced to abandon a theory then claim that you didn't believe it all along and that false Christians proposed it. Propose another Theory that supports your conclusion. Go to step 2

Well just for fun!

I saw this science program that said that the first kinds of intersteller travel humans can do is with tiny robots (because small things can travel faster) and after reaching their destination they would then self-replicate themselves, and continuing exploring the galaxy.

So what if DNA (or life) is just an alien doing something similar?

You know who you are! All of you so called christians, the ones with the fish emblem on the back of your car! Here are a few things that you should think about. And remember, the bible says, to love your enemys, and not to point your finger (any finger) at other religions!
1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!

2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!

5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!

6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!

7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!

8. Satan represent

. this is a completely hypothetical question .

lets say you are sure about what you believe. that you believe there is a god, or there isnt.

what if you had to state for some reason what you believe. and IF your idea was incorrect the person you love more than anyone would drop dead. but if you were right, then things would continue to be the same.
(does that make sense)

are you this sure about your beliefs that you are willing to risk the person you love most?

being someone of faith, i can tell you i wouldnt be able to give an answer... i honestly believe there is a god. but i know i cant prove it. so i couldnt take this risk.

how about you?

I see these posts about Christianity. Why do non-believers question it, why do believers defend it, etc. My question is to Christians. Why ask why? SO many Christians will jump at the chance to criticize people of other faiths, such as Muslims. Until we, as Christians can tolerate other faiths, we cannot expect people to tolerate ours.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I constantly found myself thinking about death and dying. I feared that I would die during the delivery and other than dying my biggest fear was her growing up without me. When I gave birth to her that fear seemed to pass and I never thought about it. Well now I'm pregnant again and am constantly fearing it. Mainly at night when all the lights are out and I'm trying to sleep. I think my biggest fear of death is me dying and my children not having their mother. I'm 6 months pregnant and this just started happening again about 3 weeks ago. I guess it's kind of wierd but I think what triggered it was the death of Anna Nicole Smith and leaving behind her baby. I am a Christian and have complete faith in God and know that when one dies, it's either heaven or hell, but that's not what worries me. Does anyone think this is because I'm pregnant and will get over it soon. Also how can I get rid of this ugly thought. It upsets my stomach thinking about it!!!

If Christians--I mean the Jewish people who BECAME Christians-- TOTALLY accepted the Bible as the WORD OF GOD, and all that, then WHY didn't they accept the interpretation of EVERYONE who was Jewish had, when they said that Jesus, while a great man, was NOT the son of God.
I mean, if you TOTALLY believe the Bible, then you ought to believe the way most people who believe it interpret it, don't you?
Jesus MAY have BEEN the son of God (I am NOT disputing THAT, OK?!). What I am asking is: HISTORICALLY, they should have respected the rabbis at the time, shoudn't they have?! Why so much dissent?! If you GROW UP believing something (and without a TV or Internet), aren't you TOTALLY devoted to that belief?! Where did these people "get off" totally disregarding their own societal upbringing?! What caused that?!
