It seems to me that Atheists have just as much faith as Christians, and other such religions that believe in God. They can't prove that God does not exist, and no one can prove he/she does. They have faith that God does not exist...The only "religion" that seems to be based on logic is Agnosticism. They believe there is nothing to either prove or disprove the existence of a God. So unless you're Agnostic you have the burden of prove, and have faith. right??? And why do Atheists take offense to this?

Never had a Muslim or a Jew once tried to evangelise their faith to me.
Don'ts that mean the Jews and Muslims care only about their own salvation and are selfish?

He came to save, but he also came to suffer. How were both possible? Mere man had no power to save. One who was solely God could not suffer. What happened then? He who was God became man. By what he was, he saved; by what he became, he suffered. ... he both wore the crown of thorns and undid the sentence of the thorns.

For the same one was in the "Father's bosom" and in the Virgin's womb, in his mother's arms and on the "wings of the wind", adored by angels and "dining with tax collectors". The seraphims would not look at him [cf. Is. vi, 2], and Pilate interrogated him. A "servant struck him" and creation trembled. While nailed on the cross, he did not depart from his throne. While shut in the tomb, he was "stretching out the heavens like a curtain". While numbered with the dead, he was plundering Hell.

Below, he was accused as a "deceiver", above he was glorified as the Holy One. What a mystery: beholding his miracles, I extol his divinity; seeing his sufferings, I cannot deny his humanity. As man, Emmanuel opened the gates of human nature; as God, he left the bars of virginity unbroken. ... His entering in was altogether without passion, and his coming out was altogether beyond understanding -- as the Prophet Ezechiel said, "the Lord brought me back to the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary, which looked towards the east: and it was shut. And the Lord said to me: This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall pass through it: because the Lord the God of Israel hath entered in by it, and it shall be shut".

There you have a clear testimony to the Blessed Mary Mother of God. Let all contradiction now cease, and let us be enlightened by the teaching of the Scriptures, so that we may reach the kingdom of heaven in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

1.Phelps WAS a civil rights lawyer and has been disbarred
2.Never had an interest in girls while growing up
3.They are in the middle of the bible belt, how else are you gonna get people talking about gays?
4. Ever notice how they never say: I hate gays..it is always 'GOD hates gays' Maybe I am nuts, but don't you think that this gets people to realize the fact that their religions are the reason for the hatred of gays. They are a church. Ironic and true. And they are preaching exactly what the bible says so people start thinking about religion and how it gets in the way of the American Liberties ..........Y'Know the thing all the DEIST founding fathers were for. This is a protest to the fact that religion has totally hijacked America, Canada, & Sweden' politics. It's not what you think.
5. Fred Phelps Senior, I believe is old and mad at the system.HesRight
So I ask AGAIN:Is Fred Phelps & Westboro Baptist Church just posing as gay haters to bring light to the topic of human rights

What is the West going to do to help the state of Buddhism in the East, which is now under threat of violence, murder and terrorism?

We are witnessing the same state of situation as was in the past by the same group of people who murdered Buddhism in India and China. These people have forced Buddhists to flee or convert into their religion. Many Buddhists are taking this for granted.

Presently, there is a growing threat in countries (especially) such as Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. There are many more Asian countries facing similar (or soon to face) such situations.

People who become Buddhists are attracted to the 'peaceful' side of Buddhism, but often forget that running away from a problem is never a solution. Hence, peace is never found by avoiding disasters. Existing Buddhists are submitting to the 'law of karma' and share 'compassion' and develop 'patience' but as a true Buddhist, it is a matter beyond lipservice. It is a problem that needs action.
