I think that's for us to discover, in any case if you are referring the bible I recommend you not to take it so siriously since is just a book written by men

There is much evidence from both the Bible and from science that demonstrates God must exist and operate in dimensions of space and time other than those to which we are confined. God could not have created the universe if He were only a part of it. The Bible says the universe cannot contain Him.

The Bible speaks of two dimentions, the spiritual and the natural. Read the first two chapters of 1 Corinthians and it explains it about as well as any thing else does.
