Well just for fun!

I saw this science program that said that the first kinds of intersteller travel humans can do is with tiny robots (because small things can travel faster) and after reaching their destination they would then self-replicate themselves, and continuing exploring the galaxy.

So what if DNA (or life) is just an alien doing something similar?

This is a question that has intrigued scientists and writers for quite a while now.

Philip K. Dick wrote a really cool and bizarre trilogy towards the end of his life. The premise of these books is that God (known as 'Yah') was a being from another place entirely. VALIS, The Three Stigmata of Timothy Archer, and The Divine Invasion are all different takes on this thought. And, Radio Free Albemuth, which was published posthumously, kind of finishes the three books up.

If you haven't read any Philp K. Dick, you probably shouldn't start with these books. I'd recommend UBIK as a first venture. Then, go for The Divine Invasion. VALIS is, in some ways, the most frustrating of these 3 books. In other ways it is the best, the most heart-felt, and the most compelling.

Well, we're not really robots. If we were robots, at least we would have a direct contact with our higher power, so I don't think so.

Brilliant question. By far the greatest question I've ever read on answers. Sadly this cannot be discussed in this small of a space. Please contact me and we will speak of this more.
