Evolution is science, not fantasy. There's no need for science to be demonstrated in spiritual ways.

Lady - Some of the most amazing parts of the bible are the Miracles of God. Miracles are physical events taking place outside of the natural order. Science, as we practice it, can only identify what is repeatable; it is simply not equipped to find miracles. Even if it did, that data would likely be discarded as an outlier.

It should come as no surprise then that science and religion tend to disagree on knowledge, as they are often based on completely different philosophical principals. And no, the principals of science aren't 'proven.' Though some can be deduced, they ultimately come from some philosophical presuppositions. Namely, verifiability or repeatability. If it doesn't fall into these categories, then science will be hard pressed to say anything meaningful about the subject. That in no way means religion isn't true (unless you practice a blind faith in science), only that science isn't equipped to handle the miraculous.

And to Thunder - Rest assured, my children will be well versed in the truth, including the philosophical underpinning of science and religion.

because evolution is a scientific fact, not some spiritual thing that can vary from person to person. Plus "spiritual" is just a state of mind which is created in the brain which came to it's being by evolution.

it can't even be demonsrated by science. It's all guessing with science that's why they can't get it right. Every year they find somthing to disprove what they thought was fact the year before. Evolution is just a rudge to take the true reason for life out of socaity GOD. With out GOD then there is no purpose for freedom of choice. If we were not created by god then they control your choice's for you. You need Government to think for you. Why do you think they will not allow inteligent design in the school's? because it would give them a chance to debate it and be proven evolution wrong in school. Which i always thought that , that was what school's were there for was to debate issues. Such as that.

Can't you see that it is consciousness that is evolving and that biological evolution is merely a reflection of that fact.

I can demonstrate it in spiritual ways, but when I do both the religionists and the scientific people reject it.

Because the spiritual is not able to be established in empirical ways. Lots of people believe that evolution is compatible with a spiritual belief in creation, but you won't find any scholarly papers about it. :)

how on earth does one demonstrate anything in spiritual ways? Should they buy evolution flowers and candy?

Because they're different sciences. Evolution doesn't have to make excuses for intelligent design. ID has to change itself to compensate for new discoveries in evolution. Don't even bother to ask for examples they're everywhere. Science keeps shooting religion down and religion keeps trying to make excuses to keep up. It's getting tired and old and maybe your children will see the truth.

Evolution is based on science; faith is based on beliefs of some sort of magical realm that cannot be demonstrated in a lab.

Human evolution has never been proven by science or anyone else.

Whenever "scientist" attempt to prove that evolution happened they accidentally end proving that it did not.

Science has been able to verify events that are written in The Bible.

I find that to be very interesting.
