After all the KJV Bible says that holy men from Asia that meditate in peaceful bliss should be hated. (Well it doesn't, but someone has probably made the case).

Why didnt he make sex before marriage right? Why didnt he make cheating right? If he said cheating was right, would you cheat? And dont say things like, "Because cheating hurts people,"

Really think into the question please.

i was watching the show on youtube a couple of weeks back.and as a western Muslim i found that show to be giving a poor representation of Muslims in the west.and Muslims in general.and its so haraam the way the women and men are mixing freely in a place of worship. socializing is for outside the mosque.
i don't spend 24/7 at the mosque.and there are some other aspects of that show i thought were very unislamic.like how the husband and wife were discussing their sex life with other people.

what are your thoughts.

It is not that I don't believe in God, but when I see restrictions, where God is the answer, I have a tendency to question the answer. It seems to cloud judgement.

It seems that those that have removed God from the equation have come up with the correct answers other than God being the answer.

Some religious people can't accept those facts and continue to deny the answer. I guess they will continue to be blind to the truth.

Do you accept answers to life's questions as truth, or blasphemies?

Does that person goes somewhere or once you die that's it? How can you be really be sure about this. I'm not interested in hearsay. Often people say or believe things that they heard while growing up and take that as truth, but they don't have any reliable source to back up what they believe.

It says it in the Qur'an Sura 5:20-21. Al-Qaida claims that the Jews didn't live up to their end of the bargain and therefore lost it. I'd like to hear it from a practicing Muslim, shouldn't you honor the Qur'an and let the land go to the ones that God gave it to and not argue with Him.

Will an ultimatum given to the US Church resolve questions of homosexuality and Anglican worship?

The US Church has been asked to form a new pastoral council allowing those who oppose gay clergy to worship, and to end the appointment of gay clergy and the blessing of same-sex couples.

The ultimatum, issued by Anglican archbishops to the US Episcopal Church, demands a response by 30 September, and follows a swell of opinion since the appointment of an openly-gay bishop in 2003.

I'm thinking because Saturday is the Jewish holy day, and Sunday is the Christian holy day. But Friday, for the Islamic holy day is not considered. Yes, 3 days off would be unreasonable, but why specifically Sat. and Sun.? Or maybe my suggestion about the holy days is not accurate?

You know there are so many people who think that they "know" the Mormons! But what I wonder, what percentage of them could say they have lived the life of a Mormon, 100%, and could not testify and know without a doubt, that the Mormon Church is Christian? There is no other Church that will help you get closer to the Savior of the Bible, than the Mormon church!!

Perhaps because it exposes all those who like to wield power within heirarchies as obsolete. Once you realize he knows nothing more than you do, the preacher may have to get a real job.
The only thing that should be happening at churches is DEBATE.

This means that that damned film is released and we don't have to watch Jim Carrey's shuddering tattooed head grimacing in the corner any more.

My question is: has anyone else sworn that under no circumstances would they watch that film now?

Does anyone think that Jim Carrey REALLY had an obsession with the number 23 before he did the film? (Shouldn't that disqualify him from ever being considered for serious acting work again?)

And incidentally, among the claims on the adverts is that 9/11/2001 adds up to 23 (9+11+2+0+0+1).

Does it bother anyone else that in fact it adds up only to either 14 (9+1+1+2+0+0+1) or 2021 (9+11+2001)?

Oh my god! I've developed an obsession with the number 23!
