If we atheists are going to hell as you want to say, do we have another chance for his second coming? This is a question my other non-christian friend just asked me on instant messenger. Well? What do you think?

If you're an atheist why would you want to be given a second chance by a mere carpenter who may or may not have lived a couple of millennia ago?

not that i believe atheist are going to hell, esp. since i don't believe in a literal hell, i will say that according to new testament scriptures, atheists (all people) will have a second chance.

I got a "thumbs down." Why? The Book of Revelation is very clear that God gives multiple chances to non-believers and believers alike. I know this "thumbs down" didn't come from a non believer, because they tend to treat others with more respect than so called Christians.

Christs first coming was his birth, he never showed for his second, and he let everybody down on his third, so now we head into his forth coming, I'm not an atheist but when are people going to start using their common sense, I simply cannot believe the insanity of people.

Wow, you gave them such an opportunity to "witness" to you and not one of them did anything other than attack you..

According to the belief of those christians who are big on this rapture theory.. when they all disappear, there will be a 7 year tribulation such as the world has never seen. That will give those of us who do not believe an opportunity to "see the light" and be saved but we will have to endure those seven years and be martyred for our faith.

I'm really surprised they didn't at least try to share that with you.

It is Apponinted unto Man once to die and after that Judgement.
God gives a lot of 2nd and more chances while you walk this Earth,But death,The Words you spoke in Life will be what condems or Justifies You. No Second Chance after Death.

You don't need to wait until His second coming to be saved....you can receive Christ at any time. He lives among us now. That is why His grave is empty....He is always willing to receive you.

answering your question: you might...but can't imagine a good reason for taking that chance....not only do you put your eternal destiny at risk, you miss out on all you could be enjoying now...and all the spiritual growth you could be experiencing now...

The second coming is about half hour after the first one.

you fail to understand that what God wants is your life, your love.

Treating Christianity or a commitment to Jesus like it is a fire escape from hell is absolutely wrong.

god bless
