as i can see you seem upset about the whole religion thing... well i am telling u right now you have to be strong and willing to take risks when it comes to faith. everything in the Bible cannot be proved and that is where you have to decide for yourself. if there was proof there would be no faith which is the basis of all major religions. i know it is hard to understand things that dont have solid proof but i am not sure even what you want people to say i mean do you really think there was proof do you want someone to say that they found a dried lake with footprints??? i mean there is not much to say other than each person has to make thier own decision weather they want to belive or not proof has nothing to do with it. i am sorry dont have the answer you were probably looking for and i have a feeling you have a serious grudge against some religions or churches? well, i do too and thats ok lots of people in churches can be very judgemental and inconsiderate. but they are just giving God a bad name. if you took a look in the Bible you would understand how loving and compassionate he is and that he can understand us more than we can ourselves. i hope this was a help to u...

--Can you prove you exist, to me? Your question could indeed be made up by someone else!--lying about how you feel about what Christ did or did not do

--The written record is that, history has been written, you can choose to believe it or not! WRITTEN RECORDS CARRY THE GREATEST AUTHORITY-and can be verified-In all of life!

--Whats to say that Christ could not have iced the area he was occupying---the "written record" says he had great powers

--When you watch special effects in Star Wars, or Jurassac Park , do you believe that the creatures in the story were computerized or real?---A lot can be done to fool people!

--But when you have a written record by people who lived, you are striking the air when you want to go against the biographies they wrote.

--So prove to us you really are you, beyond doubt! You could be one of the biggest phonies in the world, after all you do not have any history written about yourself, by any biographers, do you?
--SO THEN when you deny any history with a bibliography(that the Bible has) you might as well DENY ALL history!

--Its much more logical to believe in Christ than in most people who have ever lived and what they did or are living because , there are places he went to , things he did, tjme periods he was in , people observing these things, and individuals writing these things down.

--As a skeptic and a critical one, you are not alone, many people deny what Hitler had done to millions in the camps, are you among those, IF not why should you believe the reports?
-----IS IT NOT because history has written down the account, places were real, corroboration by people who lived the attrocities? DENY one part of reasonable history, FORCES you to deny all reasonable history.

Note one view of skeptics of Christ & what a historian had to say:

*** gt The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived ***

Answering such skeptics, the respected historian Will Durant argued: "That a few simple men should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels."

--Did you note he did not deny the miracles, he was making a factual statement--of the feasability!

Peter walked on water for just a few seconds also in the Bible.
The Apostles wrote of their time with Jesus when Jesus walked the earth and went to the cross. I am taking the written Scriptures at full value and believing they are the Word of God.

I took someones word that Paul Revere warned that the Red Coats were coming.
I took someones word that Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone.
I took someones word that Jesus walked on water.
All of these events have been documented and I believe all of these occurred. I can't prove any of them.

Do you believe in air? Prove it.
Do you believe that we are composed of atoms? How do you know this is really true?
We take things by faith every day. Why is it so hard to believe that God entered the world through his son Jesus Christ in order to redeem us from our sin. And that he loves us and longs to have a relationship with us.

Oh ye of little faith, I pray for you and your soul. At least you are asking questions, for God is working in you. Instead of skepticism and contempt, listen quietly and pray God enters your heart. If He doesn't exist as you seem to suggest, then what do you have to lose? A moment or two to humble yourself to Him who created you and who offers you salvation if YOU choose to accept it. Go on now, no one is looking, just try a very simple "God help me to understand" and then listen for the answer.

God Bless you.
