It says it in the Qur'an Sura 5:20-21. Al-Qaida claims that the Jews didn't live up to their end of the bargain and therefore lost it. I'd like to hear it from a practicing Muslim, shouldn't you honor the Qur'an and let the land go to the ones that God gave it to and not argue with Him.

out of all these responses, only 2 of you could actually address my question. I was only mentioning Al-Qaida as a view to contrast.

You're about to hear many idignant Muslims doing the Jews pick on us rhettoric.

Just a few quick points....the very first attacks in Israel...before it was Israel....were Muslims attacking Jewish villages.

Muslims lobbied the British not to allow Jewish immigration prior to the holocaust, during the holocaust, and after the holocaust.

Muslims did NOT give Jews access to the western wall when they held Jerusalem.

Half...fully half...of the refugees are not, and are not descended from anyone who ever lived in Israel, or the occupied territories. Half of the Arabs there don't have ANY land claim to Israel. NONE.

Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan all expelled their Jews the same day Israel was created. They expelled more in 1967. They now claim Jews in iran are treated well....this claim dies when you consider that Israel bribed Iran to free Jews by brokering the Iran-Hostage crises.

About %80 of the territory that was granted to Israel was already owned by Jews. I am talking about the INITIAL state of Israel.

Just a few quick facts about the poor poppressed Arabs.

Another quick point about the bulldozed lands....the majority of those lands taken from poor Arabs were taken in counter attacks against ARAB wars of aggression. Some was Annexed. The lands were also used to launch rockets. Why is it expected that Israel give back lands in wars they didn't begin?

My fellow brother-Al salaam alikom
Al Qaida are not all of the Muslims, and don't believe everything they say my brother, they are only a group and they are not all of the Muslims that are in this world. Speaking of which, Palestine, which Israel claims its their land, is the principality of the Palestinian bothers and yes god said that Moses and his followers should only enter Al-Kods, but not to take the whole of Palestine. So this does not mean that god told them to take Palestine and change it to the name of Israel (Saydna Yaqoub). Palestine is a country and Israel invaded Palestine and they claim that they have the right to take Palestine because god told them only to enter Al-Kods like what I mentioned before. We are not arguing with Israel we just want them to stop killing our Palestinian brothers, and if they want live with the Palestinians then its okay, but of course currently its not okay at all because the Israeli soldiers are killing Innocent Palestinians.

Peace upon the Christians, the Jews, and the other religions.

Its not a religious thing....There are palestinian christian and muslim that have been displaced from their homes, yet I never see the christian community rallying about their fellow brother and sisters, the palestinian christians, being oppressed and kicked out of their homes. FYI here, it isnt the muslims kicking the jews out of their homes and displacing them putting them in camps...no its the other way around, Palestinians have lost their homes and land, just because the Jews said they want it, palestinian towns have been buldozed, just because the Jews said the land was promised to them. Palestinians have been living in small refugee camps surviving on little.
Ask yourself how dehuminizing would it be to be kicked out of your homes, in one night everything you worked for gone, with no recompensation, homeless with children to feed, would you think thats fair.....Honestly a person with a brain wouldnt or couldnt see the justice in that.

The truth is, the Palestinians aren't trying to take land away from the Israelis, but are merely protecting land that is/was already theres. You can't have Palestinian land that was stolen by the Israelies, and then blame the Palestinians for trying to get their own land back. Technically, that would be trying to "take it away", but this land is land that was stolen from them, not the land mentioned in the Qur'an. Wouldn't u be angry if land was stolen from u, and then u r called a terrorist for trying to take it back?

When reading any holy book unless you're a theologian you're only guessing at what it means.
