There's a paradox at work here. We cannot even save ourselves, let alone others (it is all of God - all of grace) yet Christians are instructed to "Contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints" (Jude vs 3) and to "Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them" (vs 23). Believing the gospel brings responsibility - to share that gospel with all who would hear, and to strive to combat the Spirit of Deception and Antichrist that is ensnaring millions. Proclaiming the gospel whilst living it out, day by day, is required, praying and trusting God to water seeds of truth planted.

The gospel has indeed spread all over the earth, but every generation needs a fresh proclamation of it, in language they can relate to. Making Christ relevant is the challenge. Today millions of children and adults only ever hear the name of Christ spoken as a swear-word. Children especially have no idea of the historic Christ, let alone the divine Word of God. The Church needs to arise and proclaim as never before! Let the world laugh and ridicule! Pointing to Christ as the living Lord by word and deed is vital. May God bless you for your concern and motivate you to prayerful action, as and how he leads you.

All you can do is tell what you know. The choice has to be up to them. But remember: God's word, once shared, is like a seed that may lie fallow in the ground for years before it germinates. Don't aggressively pursue people; it drives them away. The first time I was given a New Testament of my own, I think the only reason I read it was because the man who gave it to me didn't preach. He just put it in my hand as I passed by. And I wondered about what could make a man stand outside on a cold, rainy day, just handing out books. So I opened it and read it, and my life was changed forever. Share God's word, but let it speak for itself.

Why can't you just accept and let other people believe in other things than what you do? I don't think you would like it much if someone tried converting you to their religion, trying to take away a life time of your beliefs just because they thought you were wrong and feared for you?

It is times liek this that I am actually glad I am Wiccan and find more solice in the Mother Goddess than anything Christians would say.

You don't. That's what gives us all bad names, people running around trying to convert others. We're told to spread the word, if they've heard of Jesus, then your job is over, and I personally don't know anyone who doesn't know who Jesus is. Trying to convert them will only drive them away. Be an example of christianity, if they're interested, they'll ask you. Otherwise, back off.

By teaching not preaching at them, they know you by your love and they also learn by example. You are the light of the world...
Matthew 10:24 you serve, and bare the cross with Jesus, Luke 14:33, John 13:34-35

#1. Pray
#2. No Christianese
#3. Stop preaching, start loving.
#4. Pray. Maybe get another Christian you know to pray with you.
#5. Grow spiritually
#6. Stand up for what you believe in.
#7. Trust God

I'll pray for you and your friends. You're on God's side, and He wins. Don't worry about it. God will save them. You don't need to do anything to "convert them to Jesus". God will do it for you.

You can't.
Only the Holy Spirit can get them to find Jesus.
That does not mean you should not talk about it with non-believers, because as Christians we plant the seed, and the Holy Spirit convicts the person to believe.
Your job is to tell others what God has done for you.

You leave them alone. They do not need your fear or pity. If they wanted to know about Jesus, they would more than likely come to you. Proselytization is nothing short of confrontation. You need to understand that not everyone is going to buy into the Judeo-Christian god of Abraham myth.

You can lead an horse to water - but - you cannot make him drink. The best thing to do is set a great example and hope others will want to follow....that is what Jesus did.

Now there are some people here who think you aren't being serious...that this is just your way of what...making fun of Christians?...or trying to rile people up. I think since I don't know you at all and could never really know what you are thinking, I'll just have to guess and say that you are serious and a pompous a**.
