this is a prequel to one of a member's question here which went answered not quite to the point.

If there is no science TO the Bible then is there science IN the bible? note the difference.
Is there anything in the bible that could be proven by science and vice versa by religion in contrary to the Koran which is studied and still studied around the world by philosophers and scientists alike, has answered science's most puzzling questions.

source: http://users.ox.ac.uk/~mert2049/atheistground/asadi-koranscience.shtml

many ppl believe that science and religion are of opposite poles, but what if God created science to support religion in the modern world since faith in the modern world is and has always being tested. science is not the new religion. it a way, GOD created to see truths because He created everything for a reason?

after we die, if we want to be immortal or cease to exist?

i dont really care to "live" forever. regardless if im in "heaven" or "hell" id rather just cease to exist at that point.

with inability to lose life, life because less valuable and far less precious. if i was going to live forever, i really wouldnt care to live at all. the most valuable things are the things that can be taken away at any minute and be lost for good.

And to those of you who think that it is NOT OK,why do you believe this?
Is it a "choice",or are people born this way?
( Please,do not give answers like-
"Have you even READ Rom. 1?!?!?"
"Well....the Bible/my parents/my wife/my pastor says...."
I would like to know why YOU believe what you believe.)

Christians and non Christians....are you aware?

Question Details: There are groups that profess to be chrisitians like....the "Christian Identity movement" that profess to be Christians but do not exhibit Christ likeness....It makes it difficult for us Christians that truly follow after the Lord...They embrace bigotry against non whites "The Chosen People" (Their beliefs) . They come on here under the realm of being "Christian"....and turn people off to true Christianity...It is unfortunate that anyone can use the term Christian...but not truly embrace the spirit of Christ....I just wanted to let you know...if there are people that are being offensive...and lay Claim to Christianty...I would encourage you to consider that just because they say they are Christians...doesn't make it so....and it doesn't make them a true representative of Christ. So please don't be turned off to Christ because of a few misguided humans, laying claim to Christianity, but do not embrace Christ' true nature....Be Blessed.

I have had a few dreams in my life that have come to pass. I recently dreamed that my grandmother came to me and told me she would die in august of 2006 (this dream occured in January of 2006). She passed on August 13, 2006 (unexpectedly). I have had several other, including a dream about a tall building exploding the night before september 11, and i had a dream i was drowning in a lake three days before a friend of mine died in a drowning accident in a completely other state. I had a dream last night that there was a horrible meteor shower, and planes were crashing all over the city. People were dying, and you could see these huge fire balls falling toward earth. Now, my question is, based on things i have dreamed about before......should i take this seriously? Or do you think it is a symbolic dream of some other meaning?

I'm sorry, I have no date for when this will occur. I tried looking through other people's prophecy website indexes, and didn't find anything similar.

With all the evil, terrible things that happen in the world, rape, murder, child molesting, arson, war, how many people believe that this is all part of the devils grand plan to destroy mankind, or at least let him destroy himself, I admit that there are many wonderful things that go on in the world, but there are also many, many bad, evil things as well.

not from the physical standpoint where people are actually held hostage, but from the other view on it:

According to the psychoanalytic view of the syndrome, the tendency might well be the result of employing the strategy evolved by newborn babies to form an emotional attachment to the nearest powerful adult in order to maximize the probability that this adult will enable - at the very least - the survival of the child, if not also prove to be a good parental figure. This syndrome is considered a prime example for the defense mechanism of identification.

do we form that bond?

The bible it condicts its self everywhere. Anyone who otherwise has not read the whole bible. Also, the bible has be translated and re-written so many times you truly don't know what to believe. Also through translation there always isn't there isn't a right word for the one you are translating. (I'm sure that didn't make sense to you so here's an example)Say the sentence was: The girl rode her horse.
There might not be the right word for girl or rode so the person translating might have to leave out that sentence or pick another word for girl or rode. There are also lost books of the bible so... if you haven't read them you don't know what to say you believe, but they have been re-written too. Also through time the bible has been added on to. For example the last part of Rev. Do not add or re-write, that was added on in the Middle Ages by a king so that everyone would be afraid to believe anything that is not in the bible. If you don't believe me on any this do a little research.

As some of you may know from studying the Bible god, he has a few emotional issues -- which some people may feel more comfortable worshiping a god who is above all that...

Can you approve of belief in a god who is not the Bible god, and is all kind and just and righteous and holy; and is not subject to human emotions such as regret and confusion, etc.?

This question is for people who know the Bible thoroughly.

i see tons of questions and answers about Yahweh or whatever you want to call him being the only true God, well ok that's just peachy but who were the Gods before him? why are they less valid because he came into the picture? a lot of those Gods are still being worshipped.

you mean to tell me that hundreds of thousands of people that worshiped various Gods were all wrong? all confused? how is it that they had no knowledge of the so-called true God. why didn't he speak to them?
