'halo' has asked an excellent question and I wish to take it further.
All the users of this section!
If we all agree NOT to answer questions designed to bait us into childish arguments with childish people and only choose to answer legitament questions relating to this volatile subject I really believe that this forum would be a much more useful area to learn and understand one another which is what this place was meant for.
If we DON'T answer their baited questions (don't even rate any of their snyde remarks to our questions) these silly little people will get bored and go away.

let's say you were in love with someone and they wanted you to convert to their religion, and you did it just to make them happy, but you didn't really mean it. sure you go through all the motions, attend church, whatever...but to you it's no more important than paying your bills on time or washing your car.

I have read the bible and the quran and so many book that it blows the mind. There are three main cults in the world today. The catholic cult, The mormon and the Muslim cult. All three claim to have been started by spirit guides. Angles or spirits. The catholic claim to have peters spirit.

I dont know how me and my friend got into debating about this, but she said 'due to the sudden increase of hatred for the Islamic faith -islamophobia- homosexuality has become less demonised within contemporary society', so i wanted to know whether you would be more hurt to find out your child or a close person to you was gay or a Muslim. Which would be worse? Or do you see both walks of life as being acceptable in your eyes?



Its just that in the media and even on Y!A there are alot of people who make hateful remarks about Muslims based on ignorance and bigotry, you also get people some unintending to be offensive saying 'by the way im not a Muslim' when showing any signs of endorsing or supporting the faith.

Christians are in agreement with all the words of God previous to the Gospel and and the Gospel is in agreement with all the prophets of God an his previous words. The Gospel did not seek to change the Torah or the words of the prophets. The Gospel never called the previous word of God corrupt.

The problem with the Qu'ran is it is not in agreement wiht the word of God or the prophets of God. I does seek to change the owrd of God and the words of the prophets

If there was such a thing as an almighty, God. Would it not be more logical to assume that we all derive from him, will all make up him and shall return as one whole, as a unity? The idea of a God would it not be more logical to say that we basically are him, as we all make up one sole entity?

every religion brainwashes their followers and dont allow them to think for themselves. but islam is the worst. doubting and questioning is the best way and the only way forward for the human race.
am i right?
if we can question politics, and every other area, then why should religion be immune from criticism? to people of every faith i ask, does your religion have a monopoly on the truth?
i ask this same question from muslims as well

Jesus was born a jew,I would like to know where in the bible does Jesus say that he is christian or that Christianity is the name of his religion &does he say that his name is Jesus Christ.

From what i have researched He never said his name was Jesus Christ, His name was actually Yeshua (a hebrew name).nor did he mention the words christians or christianity, He never became Christian he was born a jew &died a jew, although he did bring down a religious book,which was similar to the torah.

Let me ask you this:

if your name is Peter &someone calls you Jack,will you answer, No you wont because thats not your name.
so When Jesus comes down & you call him Christ he will not answer you because his name is Yeshua, he will simply ask who is Christ?

In Gen. God created the whole world within six days, then how can scientist claim about man's evolution? Is god a lier. I don't think God is a lier, then are the scientists lier?
