They have done EVERYTHING except have actual intercourse. They love to rub it in everyone's face that they were a virgin when they got married.....God says sin is sin..They weren't married when they were going down on their boyfriend or vice versa...Aren't they still in the same boat as the people that went "all the way"?

If somehow we can prove the non existence of God beyond a doubt, I doubt very much the world would be a better place. If anything it would lead to more murders, rapes, robberies, etc. That's my take.

tie into an explanation for Humans? People have so much diversity, including imagination, spirituality, emotions...etc.

How do you explain all of it, if there is no source of Higher Power?

I have a friend who is an atheist but she wants to have an understanding about the Christian religion.
Her closest friends who are very religious Christian people still do not know that she is an atheist and thinks that she is a Christian.
She also goes to bible study in order to see what is so great about it. Does this make her a liar?
She is afraid that by telling her friends that she isn't a Christian will make her lose their friendships.

How can I help her? and how do you think her friends will take it?

I see mudslinging back and forth between theists and atheists.

As a Christian, I am wondering from those with a non-Christian (or, specifically, atheist - as there seem to be many here) system of belief, how can a Christian state the essential messages of the Bible (as one sees fit) in the answering of a question and not come across as offensive? (Note that the Bible does not allow for postmodernism where each person can have their own truth. Most Christians believe that reality is created and objective and will present their thoughts in such manner.)

I'm sincerely interested in seeing if it is possible to state my fundamental Biblical beliefs as a Christian without those who are of the atheist mindset sensing that I am attempting to attack them. (After all, the main message of the Bible is repentance leading to grace and mercy, which may be offensive right there - though, not intending to be.)

(Side note: this forum would be much better without the name calling - thank you.)

Well? Are there? I know of Muhammad but I don't know of any other important figure that is highly noted in the Islamic religion. If you think there is any other figure that is important please list them.

A question for Christians:

If an individual needs to accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior in order to enter heaven, will individuals who lived and died without ever being exposed to Christianity not be allowed into heaven? Will they have to go to hell?

An example of this type of person would be an indigenous person of Africa, Asia, the Americas, etc. who lived and died before the missionaries came. Also, what happened to the people who lived and died before Jesus was born?

Both my fiancee and I were raised Catholic. For reasons I do not know, my fiancee has become a die hard atheist. I don't go to mass as much as I should. But I still consider my beliefs very important and believe in them very much. When time allows I do take my son to mass, but he always asks why dad doesn't come. I hate making up excuses for him. We both agreed we would not influence his beliefs, we'd let him decide. I don't force him to come with me, he wants to come. How do you explain to a 9 year old that his dad doesn't believe in God, who says that the bible just a book of fiction made up by crazy old men. I finally gave up on having my son baptised, it caused to many fights. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It seems quite clear that jesus is as a mythical as say Zeus, Pan, Nymphs and Satyrs. So what will the christian "religion" re-invent itself as next?

(if you need any further evidence that jesus is a myth, please see the movie "The God that wasn't there" on video.google.com)

Thanks for any enlightening answers

The Unbelievers of Quraysh (the people of Muhammad "pbuh") went to the Jews of their time to tell them that Muhammad claims to be a prophet and to ask them about something to test Muhammad, the Jews said to them "ask Muhammad about three things,if he answered then he is a real prophet, otherwise he will be a liar.ask him about:a man with great power and influence, some boys of a strange story, and about the soul.then surrah 18 (The cave) was revealed to Muhammad (pbuh) to answer their questions.
