I think religion should be based not on faith but on logical faith.

SO, thats why I follow one that makes sense. no blind faith here.

My question is in Daniel chapter 1 (the first verses):

Was Israel captured by the king Nebuchadnezzar?

If it was captured by king Nebuchadnezzar, then, was that the reason why they captured Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah so that they will work for the king (Nebuchadnezzar)?

what is God’s fidelity/mercy despite human sin ?

I read somewhere God's fidelity/mercy is one of the main themes in the Genesis. Can someone give me one or two references from this scipture?

I answered the door and there they were.....and the conversation starts out that they will only take one moment to discuss one bible verse. To make a long story shorter....I discussed the first bible verse and thought I was smart enough to get out of the conversation quickly......unfortunately....I have 3 pamphlets now (I did avoid accepting a little book)...but they are coming back again. (3rd time). Anyways....please tell me anything you can think of about their religion that is something abnormal or negative or unlikeable in any way.....so that I can avoid any further door knockings. (also....I'd like to be nice about it). Thanks.

However, I have the ability to sense when she is being mean or in a bad mood. She will be rude and say thing s to deliberately hurt me. This is not indicitive of christian behavior. I know everyone has bad days and is only human, but I feel a strong spirit of hate coming from her. I was going to church but I just stopped going because she has literally hindered my spirit and as you know if someone hates you, it is the spirit of murder. I have went down hill with my health since she has been like this. I believe in the power of God and I also believe that satan uses some people who are blinded. Your thoughts.

If I no longer believe in a personal God and have serious doubts about the validity of the bible BUT was once a born again bible believing Christian who did say the sinners prayer ... would I go to your heaven or hell?
