That question and would you date someone of a different religion or denomination than your own, even if they were heavily into it? Why or why not?

Has your religious path interfered with otherwise good relationships?

What does that mean. Christian wackos say that it is God dammit! or Jesus Christ! Now if God is all loving why would he send me to hell for that? I know what taking the lords name in vain is. For example. I know what Gods will for me is. I know what gods will for you is. It is to follow Jesus christ. If you do not you will go to hell. See what I am saying. I think of vain as vanity. They are similar. Anyway as the Bokononists say anyone who thinks they know the will of god is a fool and I am a fool.

Questions about Islam don't get sent to "Mythology & Folklore" so why do questions about Wicca? Wicca is a religion just like any other, so why don't the questions regarding Wicca belong in the "Religion & Spirituality" category?

If you think the "Religion & Spirituality" category should have sub-categories, let me know and I will petition the Yahoo! "Powers That Be" for seperate cateories.

I am often asked, Why I left Islam?. As absurd as it may be, some Muslims cannot even allow themselves to think that leaving Islam is an option, or even possible. They rather think that those who leave Islam are paid Jewish agents than accept the fact that people have freedom to think and some may even think that Islam is not for them. The following are my reasons: Until few years ago I used to think that my faith in Islam was not based on blind imitation but rather was the result of years of investigation and research. The fact that I had read a lot of books on Islam, written by people whose thoughts I approved of and delving into philosophies that were within my comfort zone, emphasized my conviction that I had found the truth. All my biased research confirmed my faith. Just like other Muslims I used to believe that to learn about anything one has to go to the source.

With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, "Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?" Don't want to start a fire storm, just musing.

i wanna know why so many people think i should turn my life back over to their god..what has he ever done for me but destroy lives, families, friendships and nations..and im not refering specifically to the judeo christian god but to gods of all religions..what is the overall obsession with people trying to get me to convert what do they gain out of it..a "clean conscience" because they fear that they will be punished if they dont convert "non-believers"? this all just confuses and bother the hell out of me. and please...dont quote any type of scripture from whatever book or doctrine you may follow...i want strong hard evidence that shows why i should follow a god again. thanks for your time and answers

You are firm in your opinions, we get it. But you are not going to convert anyone on Yahoo Answers. It's just not going to happen. So please quit cluttering up what could be the most interesting category with pointless name calling.

Beleivers-There is NO evidence to support any religion. If you beleive because you choose to, fine. But there is no logic to it, claiming there is makes you look stupid.

Atheists-Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You can not prove a negative statemnet.

This book has been written to make this fact known to people. The impact of The Evolution Deceit has been acknowledged by standard-bearers of the opposing view. Harun Yahya was the subject of a New Scientist article called "Burning Darwin". This leading popular Darwinist periodical noted in its 22 April 2000 issue that Harun Yahya "is an international hero" sharing its concern that his books "have spread everywhere in the Islamic world."
