Americans are not in Iraq for spreading Christianity. Christians know well that Islam is a much greater religion. Even most Americans refuse practicing Christianity. America is in Iraq for strategic benefits only; just like Afgghanistan, Darfur,...etc
One of the great strategic aims of America is to start a war between different Muslim sects. However, I do believe that this war will actually strengthen the Muslims and shall weaken Americans greatly.

There are a few false assumptions in your question, which makes answering it correctly an impossibility.
First, although many of the first settlers did intentionally treat America as a Christian nation, it's always been a diverse one with many Christians and many representing other religious beliefs. Overgeneralizing about America as a Christian nation doesn't help anyone discover truth.
Second, will you please identify the "we" who are slaughtering and the "their people" who are being slaughtered? You use language likening something today to the holocaust as an exaggeration for some reason.
Third, American benevolence in foreign countries is largely overlooked by those who have a predisposition against America for a variety of reasons. We typically do things because we believe they're the right thing to do (even if our conclusion is incorrect our motives are usually correct), not because we seek the recipient's thanks.
Fourth, why capitalize "Muslims" as a legitimate religious group but not extend the same courtesy to Christians? Are you showing a bias by this (and other language in your question) that will skew the answers?
Please rethink your wording of this question, and ask an edited version of it again.

We did not invade Iraq to make converts. Please read "Project for a New American Century-Rebuilding America's Defenses" written circa 1998 which suggests that igniting a democracy in the Middle East would make America safer and that Iraq would be a good country to democratize because Iraq had an educated population. The rationale was that terrorists would no longer need to blame the west for their abysmal life, if their lives improved with democracy.
Just as the Hebrews fashioned a golden calf upon their release from Egypt because they were afraid of their freedom, the Iraqis and the Muslims who come to Iraq to fight the U.S., fear freedom. They fear their people and want Sharia imposed through the sword. The Indonesian Cleric, Abu Bakir Bashir, was interviewed by CNN several years ago smiling beatifically saying. "We will not rest until the flag of Islam flies over the White House."
The west has forgotten from where their ideas of freedom arose; the Judeo-Christian scriptures. There is a reason why most technology began in the west. I am saddened to see how Iranians lust after atomic weapons---60 year old technology. The Koran is shown to be false by its fruit.
When Mohammed spoke he carried a spear. Jerusalem was invaded by Muslims in the 7th century. Most of the Muslim nations became Muslim by conquest.
I am beginning to think the bumper sticker was right,
"Ignorance + Arrogance = Disaster"
But I don't know what the answer is, nor do I know what to do anything with the 5% of Muslims, who want the rest of the world to convert, die or become enslaved. Is our fate to return to the 7th century because we have left the source of our creativity and strength?

I think that our policy in Iraq is a huge mistake. I do think we are creating a future generation of terrorists.
The reason Iraq is a mistake is that the people Saddam was killing were primarily our enemies (radical shi'as). We are giving the nation over to the same people we gave power in Iran. That sure worked out for us.
I disagree with you about Afghanistan. I don't think the actions we took were the correct ones, but action needed to be taken. And it isn't just for harboring Al Queda. Those people are animals. I hate generalizing, but the taliban are ANIMALS. They destroyed a centuries old sculpture of Bhudda in the side of a mountain. That was cultural terrorism. That sculpture was part of the human record. That sculpture belonged to ALL OF US. Those people need to be killed. Every single one of them. They are a cancerous growth in the human race. By those people I mean the taliban, not all afhganis.
The taliban bothered us, and the world.

Justified by God....that is what you wanted to hear so that you could dump more shi* on America..correct?
O-boy, another wolf in sheep's clothing.
Lets see...Shiites killing Sunnis, Sunnis killing Shiites, both killing Christians and Hebrews but of course it is all the USA's fault, way back before the USA was even a country, man that Bush sho nuff has a long reach.
I gotta say, all of those wackos should be happy that I'm not the Pres cause I would have turned the nations of Islam into a bunch of toasted wackos rather than a bunch of murdering wackos.
Just my opinion of course.

1. America is not a Christian nation and I'm sure most Christians would be ashamed for the religion to be represented as anything like what America does.
2. Why do we have any intentions toward Muslims? I'm sure they appreciate our replacing one oppression with another, i.e. Western culture that they are not interested in .
How about we just leave them alone and provide aid in the form of food or medicine when needed?

The war is not based on Christianity/Muslim... its a political war that GW and his administration felt they needed to finish, since GWH failed to complete his mission in the early 90s, henceforth him not being reelected.
Islamic militants are the ones who has declared the "jihad" against Americans... Americans consist of .... American Indians, English settlers descendants, those that came from the Asian countries to become Americans.... Italian settlers descendants... German descendants, Irish descendants... once you are a citizen of the United States of America, you are an American...... not African American, English American, Italian American, Iran/Iraq American, etc...etc...... but an AMERICAN. Get it right!!!

1. America is not explicitly a Christian nation, unlike Iraq which is explicitly a Muslim nation.
2. We are not there to convert them to anything.
3. Many of them did not feel oppressed under Saddam but do feel it now!
4. I don't expect them to thank us, I expect them to do the opposite!

The best haters I've ever met have been Christian. I have never seen such a vehemency to control the world and the thoughts of every one on it. They desecrate their own holy books to further their leaders' and mob's ends.

You really hate America don't you?
Tell you what. Our troops aren't in Darfur yet, why don't you buy a plane ticket and go there and start a missionary effort. See what kind of reception you get.
You'll find out real quick who the enemy of the gospel is.
And it's not Bush.
