Wiccans don't worship nature per se. We believe that the universe is the body of God/dess, and therefore that all things contain Divine energy and that the world itself is sacred. It's therefore more accurate to say that we worship the Divine as manifest in nature.

"Paganism" isn't a specific religion, but rather an umbrella term for a group of religions. I'll let other Pagans speak to how their religions view with "worship of nature" question.

Infact most religions venerate nature.

Even in the religions that are termed as "worshipping nature" it is really veneration of their deities *through* nature. This is an important point as other religions often "slam" nature based religions because of what they don't understand.

I'd hesitate to call it nature worshipping but Wicca probably comes close. But Wiccans don't exactly worship nature so much as love and respect it greatly. Wiccans understand that we are part of nature, not above it.

Yes - Wicca - they worship nature. That is an extreme oversimplification - the Wiccans can give you more specific information, or you could just look them up on the 'net.

Pantheism is the worship of nature or rather the creation as opposed to the creator. Trees are cool-but they won't take away your sin or do much on judgement day. When you stand before God it would be far better to say I embraced Jesus rather than a tree. I am in favor of protecting the enviroment and enjoying nature-that is why God created it.
