You are asking how many have been blinded, as Saul of Tarsus was when Christ appeared to him? Or, do you think people now are more worthy and not deserving of that kind of treatment? The Bible does say that since his ascension, Christ exist in unapproachable light.

His resurrected body: thousands upon thousands
His love and truth: millions upon millions.
