when i was growing up as a young muslim girl i was told that its wrong to question islam and the prophet's lifestyle. what made me question and leave islam were based on my own thinking.
i feel most religious people let alone muslims are been prevented from thinking for themselves.

islam is the worst culprit in ths department.
am i right?

I know alot of muslims around the world don't exactly see the west in the best light right now, and neither does the west with alot of Muslims, but this isn't the case with all Western countries...

I am from Toronto, and in Canada we have a really nice mixed population; I have many muslim friends, and there is never any problems. We joke around sometimes about each other's religion, mine being Christian, but that's because it's never an issue.

I hope muslims around the world know that the U.S. doesn't speak for all of us, sure there was that attempted TTC bombing that was supposibly Al Qaeda funded, but most people have forgotten about that, and even during no one looked at a muslim funny.

What I am tryiing to say is that in the end, we're all the same, so why the hate? You hate someone, and then later you just realize it's a waste of time that you wish you had left.

I am a Christian...I have read the Bible, also works by St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila and others...I am baptized...My question is: will I go to hell if I don't convert to Catholicism? I respect the Church, but feel uncomfortable because of social anxiety and other reasons to enter a new environment.

Many people say that when it comes to the Faith, it should be up to the child to decide to be baptized or to take instrcution|

But let me ask you this| Do you give the child a choice as to whether or not to go to school, whether or not to practice the proper hygien, whether or not to eat, or to practice manners?

There are all sorts of things you impose on your child, and you do this sort of thing since the day he was born|

Why is religion somehow different?

What do you think ? If we avoid these food we may become more healthy and have a longer live. God told Israel in the Old not to touch those food. Today our human body is still the same and God never take back what he said because he is the same yesterday, today and forever. God the creator know best for us. If fact it is scientific that above food can be harmful to us.

What do you think of this clone? They do say impersonation is the sincerest form of flattery. Do you think she's just a psychotic fundamentlist (real name is Booh on here) or do you think she's just obsessed with me? I don't talk to her, I don't email her, I basically don't do anything. But she feels the obsessive compulsive need to keep going on like a deranged madwoman and making up the most disgusting stuff. For a person to be able to make up something that disgusting must mean that they are very ill in the head. So what do you think of her?
