Do you distrust what people say Gods wants for them because it always coinsides with their own desires?

i always distrust someone who thinks god wants them to do anything... i really dont think god takes the time on anyone in particular. why would god chose one person over another? i dont think so.

anytime i hear (or read) anyone talk about this BS that god wants them to do this or that... i dont believe them at the least.

they are just looking to justify what they want to do.

What people say are of no great value, especially about the things which only concern their interests and desires.
The criteria for all truth are set in the Holy Books, we better distinguish things based on them.
