God TOLD Peter to "kill and eat." He explained that NOTHING he made was unclean.
Ac 10:9 It was about noon the next day. The men were on their journey and were approaching the city. Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry. He wanted something to eat. While the meal was being prepared, Peter had a vision. 11 He saw heaven open up. There he saw something that looked like a large sheet. It was being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It had all kinds of four-footed animals in it. It also had reptiles of the earth and birds of the air.
13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” 14 “No, Lord! I will not!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything that is not pure and ‘clean.’” 15 The voice spoke to him a second time. “Do not say anything is not pure that God has made ‘clean,’” it said.
16 This happened three times. Right away the sheet was taken back up to heaven. 17 Peter was wondering what the vision meant. At that very moment the men sent by Cornelius found Simon’s house. They stopped at the gate 18 and called out. They asked if Simon Peter was staying there.
19 Peter was still thinking about the vision. The Holy Spirit spoke to him. “Simon,” he said, “three men are looking for you. 20 Get up and go downstairs. Don’t let anything keep you from going with them. I have sent them.”
Ephesians 2:15 Through his body on the cross, Christ put an end to the LAW WITH ALL ITS COMMANDS AND RULES. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them.
Colossians 2:14 He wiped out the written Law with its rules. The Law was against us. It opposed us. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.
Galatians 2:16 ...No one can be made right with God by obeying the law.
Galatians 2:21 ...What if a person could become right with God by obeying the law? Then Christ died for nothing!
Galatians 5:4 Some of you are trying to be made right with God by obeying the law. You have been separated from Christ. You have fallen away from God’s grace... The ONLY verse that talks about falling from grace, and they did it by trying to follow the law!
Jesus said he didn’t come to destroy the law, but to fulfill it. (Matt 5:17) The effect was the same. Once fulfilled it was no longer in effect. The very next verse, Matthew 5:18, looks forward to the time when the law would be set aside. "...Not even the smallest stroke of a pen will disappear from the Law UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED."
On the cross, Jesus' last recorded saying, "It is finished," is an important milestone. Because of Jesus life, Satan had been defeated. The law was finished and would no longer stand between God and mankind.
The 10 commandments along with the rest of the law ("commands and rules" from Ephesians 2:15) were "set aside" when they were fulfilled or completed at Jesus' resurrection. We are no longer bound by that law.

"Can be harmful", maybe yes, but so can many other foods: chicken (salmonella), beef (mad cow disease), mushrooms, all kinds of plants and many others. Actually, anything can be harmful if taken in exaggeration.
Also why did god find dairy and meat shouldn't go together? is that bad for your health too?
How come god forgot about smoking? Just because people didn't smoke back than (at least not in that region of the world), he of course would know that one they they would start smoking, he should have advised us beforehand.
Maybe the radiotion from mobile phones isn't good for us either, how come there is not a passage in the bible on that?
He should have advised man also on the dangers of radioactivity, that way many lives (of the Curies for instance!) would have been saved (or at least lasted longer).

beef continues to be unclean. it is amazingly undesirable animal to eat. people have concept it is now alright to eat because of mis-interpretation of scripture.... The verse the position it says no longer that which matches into the mouth defiles a guy, yet that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a guy has no longer some thing to do with unclean meals, if people study the completed area in context the Pharisees were telling them they were defiled because they did not wash their fingers in the previous breaking bread. The verses in Acts the position Peter see's a sheet come down exhibiting unclean animals and declaring they are sparkling isn't literal. in the adventure that they study added it explains those verses, it easily says it wasn't talking about the animals actually, it grow to be talking about the Gentiles (who were initially seen unclean). once Stephen grow to be stoned the Gospel grow to be taken to the Gentiles. God grow to be telling Peter that they at the instantaneous are not any further to be seen unclean anymore. It refers to people, no longer animals. The animals in the innovative and prescient were basically used as an get mutually. The verse that asserts each and everything God has created is solid, and no food is to 'be rejected, provided if is gained with thanksgiving: the note of God and prayer make it holy.... through interpreting this passage in its universal context, Paul grow to be countering a pretend training through declaring that it is permissible to eat animal flesh so long because the meats were approved in the note of God. Paul grow to be addressing the problem of enforced vegetarianism, no longer the problem of "unclean meats." beef continues to be an un-healthy, un-sparkling animal. God did not substitute the animal and he did not basically substitute His suggestions about them. he's an similar, the former day, immediately and continuously.

In the book of Leviticus, chapter 11, v. 7, it is recorded that God declares the pig to be unclean for believers. Then, in
verse 8, God says: “You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you”. This command is
repeated in Deuteronomy 14:7-8. Then, in Isaiah 65:2-4, and 66:17, God issues a stern warning against those who
eat pork.
Some people are aware of this prohibition from God, but they say that they can eat pork because St. Paul said that all
food is clean in his letter to the Romans 14:20. St. Paul said this because he believed (as he wrote in his letter to the
Ephesians 2:14-15) that Jesus had abolished the Law with all its commandments and regulations. He seems, however,
to have misunderstood what he heard about Jesus. In the Gospel According to Matthew 5:17-20, Jesus is reported to
have said quite the contrary, as follows: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law . . . ." Jesus then went on
in that passage (in verse 19) to denounce anyone who would break the smallest commandment and teach others
likewise. He also praised his true followers who will practice and teach even the smallest commandment. One of the
commandments, as we have seen, is to stay away from pork.
This is why the true followers of Jesus, holding on to his teachings, did not let unclean food such as pork enter their
mouths, so that Peter, the chief disciple, can say, “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean” (Acts of the
Apostles, ch. 10, v. 14)
Five chapters later in the Acts of the Apostles, 15:29, we find that the original disciples still differentiate between clean
and unclean foods, and this time Paul is in agreement with them. Six chapters later, in ch. 21, v. 25, their decision to
impose food regulations on believers is mentioned without regret, and this time Paul is challenged to prove that he is in
agreement with them; and he demonstrated his full agreement with them.
What remains, then, is that Jesus, on whom be peace, upheld the prohibition against pork. His disciples also upheld it,
and so must all his followers. Those who fail to uphold it need to be informed and reminded of this rule from God.
