I've heard the "just look around you" answer. I don't think that qualifies as evidence. Neither does "read your bible".

Look around simply proves that what we see around us exists, it doesn't tell us how it came to be. And the Bible is nothing more than a collection of words.

You're right, the extraordinary claim of God should demand extraordinary evidence, especially if you're trying to prove that all other theories and beliefs are, without a doubt, wrong.

sure, notwithstanding the idea of relativity, or quantum physics concept on tunneling are all wonderful claims, yet they lack wonderful info. How-ever countless scientists trust in them in any case. Why? EDIT: i do not comprehend technology? For our guidance i'm double majoring in both Biology and Chemistry. Quantum concept commonly skill no longer some thing more beneficial than information debris at a microscopic factor, yet there are countless theories interior Quantum Physics that are used to describe a number of issues, which incorporates to describe the nuclear fusion created in the sunlight. The potential created through the sunlight isn't sufficient to create the uncomplicated.... it truly is why scientists created the tunneling concept, in which the proton is "on the different area" of the barrier of the cloud. It has no info what-so-ever, yet it continues to be a concept maximum scientists trust. 2d, how do you clarify the idea of relativity and the way it lacks info, yet countless scientists trust in it? Or how about 'the idea of each and every thing'. EDIT: you've not in any respect examine a technology textbook have you ever? Scientists are continually using the be conscious 'trust'. Its no longer a religious time period through itself. To trust skill to have an opinion For some reason you imagine that all and diverse medical theories have strong info. they don't. maximum theories don't have strong info, because technology purely would not purely recognize issues immediately. It takes many years or perhaps centuries of experimenting (the medical technique) to both tutor or disprove the idea with strong info. Its why you'll many times listen one scientist say "i do not trust that concept is real" even as yet another says "I completely trust that is what occurred." EDIT: sure, yet planes have also been affected in the exact same way even as flying over the Dragons triangle and it had no longer some thing to do with the idea of relativity and maximum scientists agree.

There can be no "evidence" for God, from a scientific standpoint, for God--by definition--transcends the observational parameters of scientific inquiry. Therefore, to "verify" the existence of GOd on the basis of scientific evidence would be actually disprove said existence, for that which is beyond space/time cannot be substantiated within space/time on the basis of the limited criterion to which we have access.

those things will never be substantial in debating non-christians. we all percieve things differently. i look out my door and see god everywhere, an athiest looks out their door and sees god nowhere. a christian reads the bible and finds truth, comfort, and understanding, an athiest reads the bible and warrants no reasoning, and does so with preconcieved notions that cripple the message's integrity.

so you see, in reality, my evidence is an experience, and a faith, that has proven to be true. you will not identify with me, as i have trouble identifying with you.
