Christians are in agreement with all the words of God previous to the Gospel and and the Gospel is in agreement with all the prophets of God an his previous words. The Gospel did not seek to change the Torah or the words of the prophets. The Gospel never called the previous word of God corrupt.

The problem with the Qu'ran is it is not in agreement wiht the word of God or the prophets of God. I does seek to change the owrd of God and the words of the prophets

Sura 3:50 - And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat (Torah) and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.

- Sura 5:44 - "Surely We revealed the Taurat (Torah/Bible Old Testament) in which was guidance and light", with it the prophets who submitted themselves....

Sura 5:46 - And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat (Jewish Torah) and We gave him the Injeel (Christian Gospels) in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil).

- Sura 5.68 - Say: O followers of the Book! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord;

Temseh I have read enough to know it is not in agreement with the word of God and the teachings are actualy in agreement with the liar Satan...In that sin does not cause death god is not righteous but can be in agreement wiht sin...Taqia it is okay to lie...Allah himslef admits to deceit and seems to be really enjoying it....Yeah I have read some of the Qu'ran.

Kimo Is it good for you to say the words of the prohets ...when the word of the prophets re wirtitten inth Bible and Torah but not in the Quran as these prophets were dead therefore you have the word of one false prophet that does not agree with the prophets ...these true prophets Moses have there own words thay do not need Muhammad to tlak for them the god allah may be in submission to him but the least of Gods prophets are greater than this evil man and we have there words and they do not agree woith the Quran and all agree wiht Jesus read the real words of the prophets Moses has 5 books and it is definitely in agreement wiht the teaqchings of the Gospel Isiah taught that the Messiah would be born of a virgin in the hose of David and would atone for sin is this the prophets you speak of?

2007-02-12 23:24:05 · update #7

I guess Muslims must surely believe that Jesus atoned for sin if you are in agreement with the words of the prophets...

kimo do you agree wiht the prophets or Muhammad who speaks his words and tells you it is their words....Here is the words of the prophet Isaiah
4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

Tems I ask a question and respond to the answers sometimes this means my question may appear to be longer than the answers...My interest in the Muslim faith is due to the fact they claim to be an Abrahamic faith I simply ask what questions come to mind and many tend to refer to Islam I have also on rare occasions asked questions of Jews and Chrisitans but will admit of late my attention has been on your religion not because of any specialty... I believe it began with those of your faith asking questions and many of the beliefs were not inline with the teachings of the God of Abraham as his word does precede the Qu'ran when one teaches against the word of God I feel challenged to set the record strait I'm sure you feel the same way with the Allah of your Qu'ran if he is misquoted.
the sad fact is your Quran is almost entirely at odds with the god that was before Muhammad and yet he seems ot claim to be this God. If someone is impersonateing your Father and does insult his integrety

I would hope that you would feel the need to correct those who are doing an injustice to him some who may mena no ill will but are quoteing what they believe to be true none the less you would be somewhat compelled to speak the truth.

One major difference between the Torah/Bible and the Koran is that the Torah/Bible was written by man, while Muslims believe that the Koran is the exact words of Allah, therefore cannot be debated or interpreted. This leaves little room of change. If it says in the Koran that a woman must be stoned to death for cheating, then those are Gods words and that is what must be done. You cannot argue with God's words. This is why the Koran is not a continuation of the Torah and the Bible, it is radically different

Good for you keep going and you will be guided.

God bless

added later

"I does seek to change the owrd of God and the words of the prophets" what is ment by that

read the one in 3:50 that you just posted more closely and you will see that the Bible is easing some of the restrictions of the OT

ADDED EVEN LATER

This is always the case. You are speaking the word of God and you know the others are not.

Are Muslims your specialty?

did you notice that you are the only one in this section that his question is longer than all the ANSWERS.

May Allah guide you to the true path say Amen and don't just say that you are on the true path because may be you are not

btw in your continuing effort to bring Muslims to your truth you forget to answer this question

I think you mean Qur'an correction of bible? yes it is.

However Islam is in agreement of the basic beliefs of Torah. Non of the prophets taught anything about trinity, original sin, incarnation of God, Crucifixion of the son of God.

Muslims beliefs are the same beliefs taught by all prophets.
