'halo' has asked an excellent question and I wish to take it further.
All the users of this section!
If we all agree NOT to answer questions designed to bait us into childish arguments with childish people and only choose to answer legitament questions relating to this volatile subject I really believe that this forum would be a much more useful area to learn and understand one another which is what this place was meant for.
If we DON'T answer their baited questions (don't even rate any of their snyde remarks to our questions) these silly little people will get bored and go away.
WHO'S WITH ME ON THIS!?

PS: Not wanting to offend any religion, I'm personally not religious but I apreciate many writings from many schools of thought.

I answered his question and I thought it was very valid, I agree with you this could potentially be a fabulous forum for people to understand each other, I tam an atheist, possibly agnostic. I think people such as proud Muslamaah do a lot towards making people bigoted against her religion, she is a terrible ambassador. Although I'm not religious I am Spiritual, I.e. I try to keep my soul clean and do unto others etc, I believe in Karma and am interested in developing my inner self. I'd like to do things that make the world a better place for others. I try to respect everyone I come into contact with.

Is this a silly question designed to rope people into childish arguements? It's all subjective!

Example:

I know many children who claim to be creationists (who have never done any research - hence the 'claim') do come on here to try to cause trouble, but every now and then a genuine question from a genuite creationist comes through. How can you tell this difference? I can't, so I think it is safer to try to enlighten everyone.

So I'm wondering if this question is a bait......

LOL, just kidding, yes I'm with you. Sometimes I read too fast or don't check the user and I get caught by the bait though, I will try to do better.

No, in that case, they get their say unopposed, which is their main goal.

Instead, I steadily respond to their attempts with a reasoned response. This is more likely to make them go away, because they really don't want a reasoned discussion of issues.
