The biggest cause of divorce, straight or otherwise, is marriage.

Gay marriage functions in exactly the same way as straight marriage (with the obvious and understandable exception of always being a civil, and not religious, ceremony: straight marriage can be both), so that also includes the "darker" sides of marriage, including ultimately divorce. In Spain, gay marriages have been legal since 2005; in the first year there were around 4.500 marriages and 3 divorces. Whether, as time goes on, gays will get up to the high divorce rate of straights in North America and Europe (between 40 - 60%) has yet to be seen.
If I were in the legal position, I would have no problem with marrying or divorcing both straights or gays, although I think both gays and straights who marry young (18-25) should all think twice about their decision and not make marriage some kind of "fast-food product".

Well, as a Luthern-church attending friend of mine once said, "Oh, like Heteros have been doing such a wonderful job with marriage..."
The marriage license is nothing more than a short-hand contract between two people. It details the rights and responsibilities of those within the partnership, and the division of property and rights with children after death or dissolution of the contract, within the state that one resides. When either a heterosexual or a gay partnership (without a license) dissolves and one feels the other is taking advantage economically, what happens? They take it to court. Without that contract, its even more annoying for the court to have to wade through all the BS, even if it is a hetero couple.
So legally, there is no difference between a gay couple and a hetero couple...except that the shorthand contract is available to heteros.

I dont see the difference between Homosexual divorce and Hetrosexual Divorce. They are both the same, when both are allowed to marry.

I don't care if gays want to marry. Let them. It doesn't concern me.
If I were a judge, I'd treat it as any other such dispute.
