Neither.
It doesn't really matter what kind of claims the religion has. The only reason it would be smart to follow a religion is if its claims were backed up with real evidence. However, you won't find that because there are no gods. So, it's not smart to follow any of them.

Logically speaking, this is a contradiction in thought and ideas. Logic can't be used in thinking supernatural because supernatural can't be proven. Therefore it isn't logical. Logic is scientific.
All,or most religions think supernatural, don't they. Don't most to all have a supernatural being the Reigns on high. Don't they all believe in some form of higher place (Heaven) ?
I don't think it's a matter of being "smarter" or wiser only what one thinks.
My religion has been around for three millennium and has stood the test of time, I believe strongly in it. A friend has a new religion that's brand new and has no name. How, I think, can he believe in this religion without any background or meaning but, this is his belief.
What I don't believe in is someone that doesn't believe in some form of worship. I spent two tours in a war zone, under heavy fire at time. I was ready to die and almost did. I prayed to my God and felt relief. It's amazing but, I knew of one man that was an atheist and he said he prayed to God also but, later recanted and said he didn't believe. I guess He's there when we need him, are we there for Him?

No. Didn't know logic had anything to do with religion. It seems to usually be jack booted dogma. I would think that a logical approach to religion period would be the best way. Do not see why there has to be supernatural powers involved to improve validity. Of course we would then argue about who's logic is more logical. LOL

Logic and religion in my oppinion is a contradiction.
Example: If god is omniponent and can do whatever he wants to do, like claimed by the bible for the Christians God, then god could create a rock that big, that he can not lift it.
This is logic, and by logic it is not possible. This argument is used by Atheist.
For aBeliever to counter this argment they argue, that God is not bound to our laws of physics or logic, etc. God can not be prooved or disprooved by logic in the concept of believers.
So for me, Logic and Religion is a contradiction, and therfore you can not make a connection between Logic and religion with supernatural claims.
Of course believers may tell you something different, and in their concept it still might be possible, that human logic can co-exists within the concept of religion. For me, religion makes no sence at all, but then, I am an Atheist, not making sence to believers neither.

If you had to choose a religion, it's smartest to believe in a religion that has most evidence supporting it.
