I have had a few dreams in my life that have come to pass. I recently dreamed that my grandmother came to me and told me she would die in august of 2006 (this dream occured in January of 2006). She passed on August 13, 2006 (unexpectedly). I have had several other, including a dream about a tall building exploding the night before september 11, and i had a dream i was drowning in a lake three days before a friend of mine died in a drowning accident in a completely other state. I had a dream last night that there was a horrible meteor shower, and planes were crashing all over the city. People were dying, and you could see these huge fire balls falling toward earth. Now, my question is, based on things i have dreamed about before......should i take this seriously? Or do you think it is a symbolic dream of some other meaning?

I'm sorry, I have no date for when this will occur. I tried looking through other people's prophecy website indexes, and didn't find anything similar.

Ballpark figures here.

Assume the average person lives for 75 years and sleeps an average of 7 hours per day.

365 Days x 75 = 27,375 Days

27,375 Days x 24 = 657,000 Hours

657,000 Hours / 7 = ~93,857.1 Hours

We'll call it 94,000 hours of sleep in a lifetime, and we'll say 1/3 of that consists of dreams you can remember. That's over 30,000 hours of dreaming. Chances are, out of all the possibilities you face every day, a few of those dreams might seem uncannily similar to reality or even "prophetic."

I don't know how old you are, so maybe you haven't amassed those 30,000 hours of mental film yet, but that's no reason to speculate about prophecy. There have been "prophets" throughout the ages, lots of doom and gloom. We're still here. For whatever reason, so are the doomsayers.

I was in a severe car accident many years ago. Never really "bothered" me, per se, but to this day I have periodic dreams about that and similar accidents. Doesn't make it "prophecy" just because I have such a dream and then a person dies in a crash the next day. That's just . . . life.

Well, it really depends. I'm sure you've had more dreams that hasn't come true before, than those that have. I suggest talking to a pastor, a friend, a family member, or anyone else that can help.

I'm with hasse_john. If you are a Christian, I would speak to God and ask that if He is not the One sending these dreams that they be taken away from you. Demons are smart creatures and often can tell a liitle bit about the future, but who wants it, if it's demonic!

It is hard to say. It could be evil demons trying to recruit you by showing you things. It could be the Holy Spirit trying to get your attention. A couple of the last plagues sound like they might have to do with a serious meteorite shower. Worship YHVH and give glory to His name.
