Just got a little curious about something. The different afterlife in each religion.

So, what I want everyone to do is tell me what denomination you are and what it says about after you die.

Occults are welcome too.

To not believe in God has consequences so severe that it's a wonder we have any population at all. Just don't have kids. Right?

there is only one God, if youre looking for His church it might be good to not overlook that little detail of a fact that it should bare His name and not a mans. there are few that bare the name of Christ and even fewer that support His same organization with prophets and apostles.

I've been reading a lot about Wicca lately and I'm interested in learning as much as I can. For example, do spells really work? I'd like to start with some simple spells or rituals, but I don't know who to turn to. This religion isn't popular at all in my country, and I haven't found anything on the Internet. Can anyone please recommend me some sites, or at least give me some basic advice? I'd really appreciate it!

and embrace something that would say that "where the Scriptures speak we can speak with authority: where the Scriptures are silent we do not speak with authority but allow the operation of commonsense, opinion and liberty". Though this will move away from the church's tradition that is based on Campbell's maxim that "Where the Scriptures speak, we speak; and where the Scriptures are silent, we are silent", it will remove the current inconsistencies but in the long run strengthen the common acceptance of the bible?

Given the words of Jesus in Matthew, how can you be divorced and still consider yourself a Christian?

8and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one. 9Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

10When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this. 11He answered, "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. 12And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery."

Matthew 10:8-12 NIV

I am told people in Washington believe in everything except our lord and savior. I know that cannot be true. The rumor is that they believe in worshipping trees, mother earth, mountains, it is also said that racistism is alive in Washington.

most answers claimed, god knew and he wanted to give them a chance to confess. why did he bother giving them a chance to confess, when they did confess god still punished them harshly.

would you put a large punishment on your child who actually came and confessed to you? would u not take pity and lessen that punishment?

Genesis 3:10
10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid." (adam the one talking)

so why did he give them a chance to confess, when their confession didnt have any effect on the outcome?

I am looking to purchase the traditional four bowl dinning set called (Balwoo) used for Korean Zen (Seon) Buddhist communal meal practice. (Balwoo gongyang) Any information as to where a set of these bowls can be purchased on line would be helpful. I am willing to deal internationally if needs be, however I would prefer to find someplace in the U.S. so I don’t have to spend to much for international shipping and currency exchange. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I answered a question that someone had that questioned Christianity, and the Christians gave the most nasty replies. I thought your leader Jesus, was one of the most loving people to reach our planet. His message was peace and love for all people, not just the ones who agreed with him. Didn't he love even his betrayers? None of us have endured the brutality in which he was killed and if he could forgive his enemies, why can't most of the people on answers respond respectfully to a question that questions their beliefs. Not only are you not following Christ's message, but you're also not respecting the rights of others as Americans. So please answer this for me why is that most of the people who claim to be Christians give the most insulting and rude responses?

Maybe you are on public transport or something and you see someone who is horribly disfigured or disabled in some way and you wish that you could just magically ( miraculously?) touch them and they'd be cured. Are these shameful thoughts to have, or do they reveal a deep belief in Christianity, given that Jesus could allegedly do this?

It makes me feel sad sometimes that a bunch of human beings who are nobodys say that God prefers straight sex over homo sex. I think straight sex is disgusting, just like some of them think that gay sex is disgusting. I doubt that God has any favorites, and most people( exept the ones with Religiosity Disorder) know that the bible is not entirely God's word...

God the Father is God.
Jesus the Son is God.
Jesus say: I and the Father are One – John 10:30
God is eternal – Deu 33:27
God has no beginning or end – Rev 1:8
Sin is the separation from God.

How then did Jesus die on the Cross?
-God is eternal
-God can’t die
How could Jesus say “Why has thou forsake Me”? – Matt 27:46
-God can’t forsake Himself
-God can’t separate Himself from Himself they are One.

I’M NOT GOING TO READ ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T HAVE QUOTES FROM THE BIBLE.

Let the Bible stand for itself or

Let the Bible then be put away if it can’t defend itself
