Ern no... lots of different joint typs gentically came out... the ones which works well survivied and the owner mated so those how it developed.
Now those who can type fast probably will do better.
Then something else
Orgnanic matter is different to mechanics legs.
Ie if you keep stepping on rough ground your feet toughen up and organic lifeform develops and have cellular structure.
Mecahanical feet dont as not alive... thats how evolution works...
Not just strong but what works well with surroundings.
In terms of cats... its the weak fluffy docile ones which work well.

I dont think knee joints improve intelligence.
But a good hit off any joint can improve alot of other things like orgasms and your creativity.
