They can't blaspheme the Jewish God either (it is the same one).

It's because there is an assumption underlying them all that truth is a universal concept, and that since they have found one truth (that I do not intend to argue against), everything else that sits in contrary to the truth that they have found must be false.
Rather like a painting, there are many meanings and truths that underly this world that can be equally appropriate and yet at the same time contradictory given different contexts of society and history. When people acknowledge the subjective nature of the ideologies they adopt, this self-skewed unfairness of the perception of reality will gradually dissolve into an engaging conversation that bridges the gaps between these ideologies and allows us all to exist without the walls of exclusivity we have built to shun the outsiders and protect our supposed "objective truth".

You can only blaspheme if the god exists.
Allah is only a cartoon character used by megolamaniac imams to fool the great unwashed to do their evil bidding for them.

I think what you guys are all refering to are Christians that take the bible literally word for word - the extremists.
I'm a Christian, but I don't believe in organized religion. My boyfriend is a Hindu and I love his culture - I think it is fascinating and beautiful. As a Christian, I do believe in one God, but I also believe that God shows himself to us in different ways - to a Hindu, maybe in the form of a Goddess such as Durga or as Ganesh?
To a Wiccan, God is nature...
To another religion, God appears as something else.
It doesn't matter how we see God, because NOBODY has ever seen him to begin with..and it doesn't matter which form he shows himself in...it all comes down to how we live our lives, and how we treat other people :)
Religion divides people, spirituality and God should bring us together...

I don't "blaspheme" other Gods because "other" Gods do not exist so i would be blaspheming air. What is the simple question you have? I'd be happy to answer, no need to "run for your life" why would there be?

I don't question their god(s) and his/her/their existence. I question their reasoning when it comes to other faiths and the way many of them treat other people.
Heathens tend to be that way, though. We don't care who you worship as long as you leave us alone to worship our dieties in peace. For some reason most christians find this absolutely intolerable. I have to admit, I've NEVER had a problem with a Jew or a Muslim in this area before, tho.

It's unfair. Life is unfair. That's the way the story goes. Everyone should have respect for other people's religions. But many people don't, and there's nothing we can do about that.

It's not fair. That's how it gets to become a majority and spreads.
The reason we aren't allowed to question theirs is that both religions are very specific in that non-believers should be killed immediately.

THANK YOU. Seriously, you just made my day. If one more Christian tells me the Goddess doesn't exist because the Bible doesn't mention Her I'll scream. I don't know how anyone could be more arrogant than to declare theirs is the only God because of a book. There are thousands of stories about other deities out there. By their logic, that makes them REAL as well.
