How do you know? What would the punishment had been if they had rebelled against God and followed Satan instead of "coming clean"?

This assumes that the god of the bible is a loving, forgiving god, as well as omnipresence/omnipotence. This is clearly not the case if you actually bother to read the book of Genesis.
God lies to Adam and Eve about eating from the two forbidden trees (can someone explain exactly how eating from the Tree of Eternal Life will cause death?), and the snake actually tells them the truth, that god is lying to them.
Then when god returns to the garden he wants to know "Who told you you were naked?" He is clearly not omniscient nor omnipresent.
As soon as god discovers he's been caught in a lie, he throws Adam and Eve out.
This is not the action of a loving parent.

no longer a common assessment. in case you replace the Utopian worldwide of A&E to in effective condition right this moment's situations, you would be able to desire to think of a worldwide without affliction, the place no person is hungry, suffering or homeless. think of if God certainly appeared, granted all this or perhaps presented each and every man or woman or kinfolk a loose domicile that value no longer something to maintain. What would take place? approximately 10 minutes after God replace into carried out, somebody would say, "howdy, how come that guy have been given the domicile with the incredibly solid view", human beings would initiate struggling with, killing one yet another and complaining that God did no longer care. So i think a common assessment of God to individuals would be if the mum and dad did each and every little thing interior their potential to maintain bleach from the new child however the new child breaks into the friends domicile, steals an ax, and then spends an hour smashing open the cabinet the place the bleach is locked so he can drink it.

Confessing your sin does not release you from its consequences. God could have just killed Adam and Eve right then, but He had mercy on them, and set into play His plan for their salvation, so that, even though they will eventually die temporally, God will allow them the ability to be resurrected and live forever.

Bla bla bla there is no God. You tell yourself you are the special most loved person of an omnipresence and omnipotence God because it makes you believe you are being protected, looked after in a very scary world...but just like anyone else good and bad things will happen to you regardless of your "Jesus lucky rabbits foot". You are not special, there is no God looking out specially for you...it's a good psychological booster, but that's all it is.

If Christians had put half the effort into finding cures for disease that they put into straining at gnats and swallowing camels in defense of indefensible mythical nonsense over the past two milennia, we'd all be immortal by now.
Why does no one get this is the equivalent of banishing your two year old for taking a cookie?

While God knew everything Adam & Eve did not. They did know there would be consequences for their actions, otherwise, God would have been made a lier which cannot be of course.

he was helping them see the effect of the sin they did It made them embarrassed
God would promise a coming redeemer who would be born not of the normal manner, but of the seed of the woman and would crush the head of the serpent
We get God's mercy by grace not by anything due and it is not of ourselves and not a result of our goodness

they still disobeyed God...I do punish my kids even if they confess. they have to learn to listen. However, one day when we meet Him, we will be able to ask Him the questions that noone seems to know how to answer on earth...

How do you know it didn't affect the outcome? No one knows what would have happened otherwise. We could all be donkeys or something if they had lied.
