The son of Isaac was Jacob, and from his 12 sons came the Jewish nation. Both Isaac and Jacob were promised by God that their descendenants would get the land of Canaan (Israel), just like Abraham was. (Genesis 26:2-5 and 28:13)

Neither of them led tribes. They were two sons of Abraham, Isaac by Sarah, and Ishmael by Hagar.
The descendents of Isaac are Jews. The descendents of Ishmael are believed to be the Arabs.
