and what is taught in school?

It seems that there is such a hullaballoo about all of these things, and it all boils down to "God's word." Explain how this is not legalistic. Thanks.

Abortion: it's the killing of a innocent unborn baby. Even if it were legal around the world, it does not make it right. It's murder. With the option of adoption and birth control, there is no reason a woman would have to abort.

Gay: it's not a sin to be gay, it's a sin to act it out and live that life style (not only in the Christian Church, most religions are opposed)

It does not matter to Christians whether these issues are legal or not. If Christianity became illegal, Christians would break the law constantly. If robbery became legal, Christians would still stand by the commandments.

I think you are absolutely right about Gay rights. THE ONLY reason you can give for discrimination against homosexcuals is that God told you to. There is no logical explenation for it.

I think Abortion is a little different. I am militantly pro-choice, but I have known a few other agnosttics and atheists who were anti-abortion. The vast majority of people who are anti-abortion are religious, and it is clearly the religious right that motivates this issue, HOWEVER....it is technically possible to claim that you think life exists as a fetus without believing in God. You could come at it from a medical perspective as being morally wrong.

In most cases we want a MURDERER put to death in AMerica, unless it happens to be a woman who got pregnant and did not want to, then it is called lagalized abortion. This is MURDER of an unborn infant it is not to be taken lightly as some do. GOD speaks to us about murderers as early as Genesis with Cain and Abel. GAY is not "gay" it is an abomination according to GOD. It is when two people are so screwed up they don't know men from women. GOD made the woman to be with the man. HE certainly didn't make any mistakes. Satan has been involved with our society for so long that we don't know what is right and what is wrong any more. Our public schools have a number of problems but I am not here to tell you what needs to be done EXTRA by our public school teachers. They certainly have enough on their plates. Our PARENTS need to train their children on how to treat others before they are attending school and what is right from what is wrong. SEX EDUCTAION is not something that a school should have to be involved in. Have a great week.

Christians do have laws. People make mistakes and unborn babies are paying for it with their life. There are many parents wanting to adopt children. I would understand abortion for medical reasons, not as a birth control method.

I think we ought to love gay people. Homosexuality is a sin and so is gluttony, adultery, stealing...what comes to gay marriage, I would not vote for it. Marriage is between one woman and one man, if two same sex people want to have an union, call it something else. : )

Christians face the same laws as any other person in the U.S. If you are regarding to biblical & Christian principles....thats totally different. Are Christians allowed to have a viewpoint that opposes law enforced by our nation, sure.......

You're right, all women should be running around getting pregnant and aborting the babies, and men should spend their spare time giving it to each other us the as s

Give me a break. Take a look at genitals, and if you can't figure out what goes where, then believe whatever you want

We still follow the 10 Commandments, but we don't feel bound by the 600+ rabbinical laws.

get in God's Word for yourself. We love to sit up here and argue points and go back and forth with what's right and what isn't and why it's not fair. Read the Word it'll tell you.
