Andrew, thank you for your response and your courtesy. The Bible says that God is loving and just. This means that He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus to us to take our place for the punishment of our sins. It also means that He is just and that sin does not go unpunished. Otherwise, what is the purpose of Jesus' death for us ?

We do all sin we are born sinful. When we choose to follow Him, it is because we love Him and we are repentant and sorry for our sins. And, because we love Him, he changes our hearts mind and actions to be like His. We can't continue to do the things that nailed Him to the cross if we love Him.

God says in His written word, the Bible, that any sexual conduct outside of the boundry of the marriage of one man and one woman is sin of the flesh. Which can be forgiven if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and repent, which means to turn away from.

Can God be kind and just if he punishes not accepting something that he doesn't prove with eternal damnation?

For that matter, can God be kind and just if he punishes any mortal, and thus limited duration, sin with eternal, infinite, pain and suffering?

Here is something that says it best:
"But for the early Christians, the evil one was a very real and malevolent presence. Temptation coaxes us toward sin, and sin leads to sickness and death, and ultimately confinement in the realm of the evil one. The devil's main purpose is not to scare us, in a horror-movie way; when we're scared of him we're alert to him, and that might undermine his plans. Instead, he wants to quietly, subtly lure us into stepping away from God. Sin leads to death, but death also leads to sin. Hebrews 2:14 explains that the evil one has always controlled the human race through fear of death; that's what most deeply terrifies us and makes us grab at earthly security. But "whoever would save his life will lose it" (Matthew 16:25). That's the bitter trick. Desperate, selfish clutching lands us in the realm of death.

But God sent Christ to rescue us; He took on human form (showing us that these humble human bodies can bear the presence of God, like the Burning Bush bore His fire), lived a sinless life, went into the realm of Hades like all human flesh, and then blasted it open by His power. Death could not contain Him, because He is Life. When we join ourselves to Him and begin to assimilate His Life, we too are freed from the control of the evil one. "

God has been kind and just sending Jesus so we can be saved by grace/the O/T we would have lived by the law which it has been proven that we cant so God being merciful and loving sent His own son perfect and blameless to die for our salvation/the O/T He demanded payment

With all actions there are consequences, sin is no exception. Only a sinless person could pay the price for the sinful. So the answer is no, he would not be just.

ma'am i'm afraid i have to correct u. a Christ Follower is not a Christian. a Christian believes that certain things can get in tha way of yer relationship with God. and in tha dictionary it may say that that's tha definition, but tha basic diff is that we Christ Follower's don't believe there r such things as abominations becuz it clearly states that sin is sin and that tha only unfergivable sin is tha sin against tha holy ghost. i uh could sit here and type to u all day tha diff's but basically Christians preach, we Christ Follower's don't becuz we Christ Follower's know that we all sin and we don't think it's right to hate ppl fer bein gay or disown them or tell them they need counceling or tell them they have a demon in them. a Christ Follower is not a Christian.

Well, that'd be kind, but that's definitely not just.

It's the same thing as not pressing charges for shoplifting. It's a nice thing to do, but it's not necessarily fair, and the person who shoplifted probably didn't learn a lesson, since he got off easy.
