after we die, if we want to be immortal or cease to exist?

i dont really care to "live" forever. regardless if im in "heaven" or "hell" id rather just cease to exist at that point.

with inability to lose life, life because less valuable and far less precious. if i was going to live forever, i really wouldnt care to live at all. the most valuable things are the things that can be taken away at any minute and be lost for good.

i don't think that would be such a bad choice to give a person seriously

Let us look at it this way. At this point, you have most probably crossed the kindergarten line and no one is likely to think you belong there, nor are you likely to wish you were there, except as a teacher. Hard as you may try, you will not succeed as a two-year-old again because you have passed that point. That is the design: you keep going forward, keep learning, keep improving on previous levels. Even when you scoff at the grand design or profess to have nothing to do with God, this does not make you a lesser child of God nor make the design less real.

I am sure you know that it is possible to lose life, otherwise you would have experimented with suicide. However, the fact that Soul (the image of God in you) lives forever should not be confused with toying with the opportunity of life on earth. You are to make the best of the present; that is why it is the best present you can ever have.

The notion of sitting in heaven doing nothing or singing hallelujah all day would be very boring indeed. Fortunately, this idea is wrong. The next level of heaven is very similar to the one you are in right now, except that it is much more beautiful. And what you do there is similar to what you are doing now. If you are enjoying it here, chances are you will enjoy the next one too.

Despite what you may think, I have a feeling you are doing very well spiritually now.

Well, After life... when we do die... If u were righteous in the Lord u wont even remember this world. So u wont really even trip off of getting tired of living.. Ur Flesh makes u tired and frustrated of things.. So no matter how ur opinion works right now.. In the End if ur not going to Hell u will want to live forever and ever... Plus UL merge into Jesus so u will think like hIM..
God Created us so he has the right away..
I personally dont ask those type of questions.. Why is my mind questioning God ? I'd say.. He does what he wants....HE'S GOD!!

Depends upon the beliefs of your religious base. In some, it is believed that you have a choice whether or not to return to Earth or go on to Sirius or any other place (like the Sun). Also, they believe that you don't have to return immediately, you could wait a couple of thousand years and return then. However, most souls return to earth because earth has the greatest challenges and greatest learning possibilities. I think that the concept of "hell" still only exists in the beliefs of some fundamentalists. If god gives us "free will" then how could we be condemned to live eternity in some sort of torture? That would require that we are predestined by an evil genie.

I like your question. I don't believe in god so I can't give you an anwer to why he doesn't give you a choice. But since a lot of christians say that god has created people with a free will, people should have the possibility to cease to exist. Good point.

Actually that is the choice that is set before us, always has been Eternal life or eternal death, not eternal life in bliss or eternal life in torments.

Genesis 2:17 - "But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

ALSO:

“In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.”” (Genesis 3:19)

"I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today, that I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive, you and your offspring, by loving Jehovah your God, by listening to his voice and by sticking to him; for he is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell upon the ground that Jehovah swore to your forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give to them.” (Deuteronomy 30:19, 20)

"But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off." (Psalm 37:38)

“His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.” (Psalm 146:4)

“For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5)

“Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.” (Ezekiel 18:4)

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

“That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.” (Romans 5:12)

"For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

So there you have it: Your choice, life or death, all the way through the Bible. If you choose death, that is all, but if life you have wonderful prospects of living forever in paradise conditions on the earth. (Psalm 37:9-11, 29; Isaiah 33:24; 35:1-10; Revelation 21:3-5 and many more.)

Your life is full of choices, you were born with free will!. God doesn't control your life you do. God to me is more of a guiding father, who, through faith can offer you a new direction. Your life after death isn't a physical life but a spiritual one.

The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.

Churchianity is a pagan religion. The only thing that will change a person is the indwelling savior Yahoshua. Obviously that is rare in this sinful world.

You are being coaxed by Satan to think that eternal life is going to be boring. If you die unsaved, you will be in too much torment to be bored. If you die saved, you have a glorious eternity, full of joy.

because of our destiny and it is God will, you can not have answer to any question, sometimes we become arrogance and we forget our mission but in reality we are nothing in this life because everything will disappear and the only one who remain is him ,the one who created all , and we' ll return to him for peace forever if we do good and avoid bad and asking him for help and to forgive .We Muslim called him Allah
