Christians and non Christians....are you aware?
Question Details: There are groups that profess to be chrisitians like....the "Christian Identity movement" that profess to be Christians but do not exhibit Christ likeness....It makes it difficult for us Christians that truly follow after the Lord...They embrace bigotry against non whites "The Chosen People" (Their beliefs) . They come on here under the realm of being "Christian"....and turn people off to true Christianity...It is unfortunate that anyone can use the term Christian...but not truly embrace the spirit of Christ....I just wanted to let you know...if there are people that are being offensive...and lay Claim to Christianty...I would encourage you to consider that just because they say they are Christians...doesn't make it so....and it doesn't make them a true representative of Christ. So please don't be turned off to Christ because of a few misguided humans, laying claim to Christianity, but do not embrace Christ' true nature....Be Blessed.

Christ loves all people...and desires all to be saved...not a select few.

Christians and non Christians....are you aware?
They said it wasn't a question...It seems to me when you ask someone if they are aware...that that is a legitimate question...What is your opinion?..Thanks.

If I asked you were you cold?...It would be a question I would think...
If I asked you if you were tired?...It would be a question I would think...
So when I ask if you are aware?...It would be a question I would think...because I really wanted to know if people were aware that there are those that claim to be Christians but do not embrace the Spirit of Christ....I really did not know if people understood this...so it was a question to seek out if people understood this...

Yes it is more of a statement. But most people that have a relationship with Christ can tell those who are not right with the Lord. I dont like to use the term Christian because it is so vague. It has become such a common title. Kind of like the word love. That word is thrown around to easily as well. I love that show. I love that song. You get the picture. Theres not much we can do about it but let our light shine for them as a real follower of Christ. Im about ready to give up on this because its mostly about bashing "Christians". Or asking some questions that are just stupid to ask. I dont like to use that word but come on the same question just change a few words. Peace out......

1st: I am aware.
2nd:I think it is a legitimate question.
There are too many so called Christians out there who for one reason or another display certain characteristics that turn people off Christianity. I would like to make it clear that as a christian i know that Jesus' message was one of love, tolerance, acceptance & forgivness as well as many others. If there is anybody reading that has had a bad experience with Christianity through one these minority groups do not give up there is always hope. Go to one of your main churches and speak to priest, vicar, paster whatever and i am sure they will be only to happy to help. Remember, God is love, love for everything & everybody not hate.

Nothing and not anything. Offense is within the eye of the beholder. If there may be whatever sacred to me, and also you profane it, I have the choice to disregard you. If I say something to you or approximately you or approximately your "profanity," I have selected to have interaction you. That legitimizes the profanity. If I effectively forget about you, the profanity does not exist, considering it is under no circumstances been stated. It's now not profane till anybody takes offense. It's like a seed that cannot take root with out fertile soil. I can actually negate it via now not acknowledging it, now not giving it anyplace to take root. Likewise with anybody who chooses to take offense at whatever I say. Ultimately, taking offense is a manipulative mental sport.

It is indeed not a question, but that does not preclude a response. There are many different flavors of people who claim to be Christians, and at the ends of the spectrum they have little in common except the name. No one is in a position to be an arbiter of whether any particular person (or set of beliefs) can properly be called Christian. As for me, I consider the notion that god created Jesus for the purpose of convincing god to remit sins to be silly.

No, it's not a question. Just because you preface a statement - and a very long one at that - with a question doesn't make it a question. If you had ended it with something like "What do you think about that?" as opposed to "So please don't be turned off..." etc., then you'd have had a better chance. But just because you start a statement with a question, that doesn't make it less of a statement.

No, but I understand your point. Unfortunately in an age where politics, consumerism and religion have fused it's certainly seems there are far more "non-Christian Christians" than Christians. The sad thing is they don't get it. They just judge via their self proclaimed righteousness. Makes me sick.

Well the Bible speaks of these things happening so we must be aware of this....
MARK 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

A yes no question doesn't constitute a question here. The goal is to get information about something. What information were you trying to find out? There is no question whose answer you would learn something from.

You were posing an opinion, or preaching, and then asking a "yes" or "no" answer in return on whether they agreed with your rant. This isn't an opinion forum. It wasn't a fair question. They were right in deleting it.
