You could probably take every religion or cult and make the same argument. People from every gender, race, religion and cult have contributed something to society at one time or another. So let's not try and justify the Mormon cult just because some of its members once invented something.

As to the claim he invented stereo sound:

"Fletcher is sometimes known as "the father of stereophonic sound", but this is inaccurate. His technique relied on spaced pairs of microphones. Modern stereo, based primarily on coincident techniques, was conceived by Alan Blumlein of EMI at about the same time and aimed to overcome the deficiencies in Fletcher's method. Blumlein applied for the key patent in this field in 1931."

Nolan Bushnell who founded Atari denounced Mormonism, and is not a Mormon any more.

Philio T. Farnsworth did not actually invent television. TV was being worked on by many different inventors who produced various models prior to the Farnsworth demonstration. Fransworth was merely the first to demonstrate a specific kind of TV and camera system to journalists in 1928.

It really does seem like you are just desperate to show Mormon creativity and inventiveness, rather than present actual historical facts.

Mormons love new travellers. On each and each of the Mormon church homes in our section, all of them have indications that say "travellers welcome". the only element you may no longer circulate to is the temple, which you do no longer would desire to difficulty approximately in any case at this think approximately your existence. ALL church homes enable you to in, although, so do no longer difficulty approximately that. you may experience uncomfortable, yet there are some very severe high quality persons that are Mormons. perhaps you may circulate with a chum in case you experience too uncomfortable. ultimate needs!

Believe me I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, I do not now or have I ever belonged to any physical church. But, I do listen to them, because Jesus commanded me to. But I tell you I have not seen any physical church closer to the commandments of Jesus then the Mormon church. Jesus told you how to judge the Word that you hear, is it from God, the Father, which is in heaven, or is it from another place?

Hint: The Holy Ghost will bring to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you. These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Wow, so Mormons invented the means to bring about Rock and Roll, American Idol, and Grand Theft Auto. I think morally, we would have been better off. But hearing wise, you got me. The fewer "What?!"s - the better. Thanks Mormon inventors for making the world more pleasant. What?!

All true as far as I know. But you left out the only one that matters: the restored truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ushering in of the "fulness of times".
