People use the argument that life is so complex it must have been created by some sort of designer (God). Shouldn't the same logic apply, say when asking what created God. I am starting to think that logic doesn't explain/support God's existence.

No sin is so serious that the Catholic Church cannot forgive it.

RCC Catechism admits that these are not instructions from God, but traditions of men.

Show me where in the NT that a priest other than Jesus as the High Priest is needed as a confessor to receive forgiveness of sins.

Now, tell me where in the NT it says we must atone for our sins with Hail Marys?

I ask this b/c I'm running accross many people saying different things from atheist claiming there is no God to Christians claiming that god goes to sleep LOL. I just wanted to know WHEN did god come past the point of dwelling in our hearts to the biggest misconception people have every known of a tyrant who rules the skies w/ his rein of terror? I mean doesn't the Bible say Heaven is within us? Or is everyone picking a fight without knowing all the facts? I see Christians poking at atheist and vice versa. Isn't it time this stopped? The Bible and says that god will send help by people who have gone through a similar situation, so if you havn't been through that then who are you to condemn these people that goes to christians and atheist

"At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants." Matthew 11:25

But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these" Luke 18:16

Do you think that Jesus is saying that a humble "child-like" person will know God and not someone who thinks they are too smart to believe in God (Pride)?

This is a serious question. I'm curious to see the answers. I don't believe in hell, so why would I go there if I didn't believe in it? Give it some thought before you answer.

Most Jewish people have very high respect for Rabbis because of the intense years of training and study one must go through to become a rabbi and because in general, the study of Torah is considered to be the highest form of Judaic practice. Is there a similar attitude towards priests and leaders of other respective religions?

I just noticed another question here on Answers that prompted me to think about one of these gnawing questions that I can't seem to resolve. Between my religious studies class and websites and some of my eccentric friend's books, I keep encountering the phrase "vibrational frequencies" in reference to New Age-type religions. I even have a book about crystals that talks about them.

My question with regard to these "vibrational frequencies" is this: what, precisely, is it that's vibrating? I mean, I have no problem with the good ol' idea of atoms and molecules vibrating as it relates to an object or substance's temperature. But people talk about something having "high" vibrational frequencies or "low" vibrational frequencies, or bringing their vibrational frequencies into alignment, or whatever. I doubt that these people are talking about warming things up or cooling them down.

So WHAT ON EARTH are these supposed vibrations all about? All input is appreciated--thank you!

I'm a saint, I love tha Lord. But Many Christ lovin people think that our one and only mission in the congregation is to , "Help bring other people into the Church, it is our only reason for still being here".. Now, its cool to help other people by being a good samaritain. But why should I force someone to do something they don't wanna do? And I couldve swore that we are only still here to work on ourselves, just because we're saved doesn't mean we can't frustrate his grace and go to hell.. And if we still got problems, how in the world can our problematic behinds punk anyone into livin right? Whats with the Uncle Sam mentality? and where did it come from? because Jesus didnt say nothing about forcing our world on others... We become a stumbling block when we force people to do what we want them to do. Whos with me or against me?
