I don't believe in hell. I believe that when I die, I will go to a beautiful place where my soul can rest after this life before going on to my next life. If I have done something wrong in this life, then either in this life or the next I will pay for it, be it a small thing or a larger thing.

Actually, hell can be a controversial subject even with Christians. As long as you are a Christian, then you don't have to worry whether or not there is a hell because you will still have eternal life. My brother is a Christian, but his belief is that we experience "soul sleep", which means the soul sleeps until the Rapture and then is reunited with the body. Now, immediately after we die is one thing, but then the final Judgment is another. People who reject Christ are thrown into the Lake of Fire (Rev.20:15), which is different from "hell". Some people say "hell" is separation from God, our Creator, and therefore is torment to the soul. It all depends on Bible Study and what you feel led to believe.

I'm not exactly sure if there is a heaven or hell, but in answer to your question if there is a hell whether or not you believe in it or not wouldn't matter if you did something that a supreme being deemed as a hell bound offense I'm sure you would end up there. If you committed a crime that you didn't believe was wrong would you still go to jail of course you would so why would hell be any different?

It depends. Once you have accepted Christ as your savior and Lord, then no. You are covered by grace. That is until the point you openly choose to live in sin and don't care about it any longer. But as long as you are trying, God will forgive you as many times as you sin and ask for repentance. Just don't think you can fool God and keep premeditating the sin and forgiveness.
If you didn't believe in gravity and jumped off of a cliff, you would still be injured or dead. Same with hell.

You don't have to believe in something for it to exist. Say, for example, that someone decided one day they don't believe in gravity; well, that person isn't suddenly going to be able to float away from the earth's surface. On the other hand, if there were really nothing to keep us from floating around, a person couldn't one day decide "hey, I don't feel like floating around anymore, I think I'll stay grounded today" and have it be so.
I think the same idea would apply to believing or not believing in Hell; if it's really there, it's going to be there whether you or I believe in it or not.

Hello Jade;
this is my response to a question i tried to answer 20 mins ago, and think its fitting here also...
We cannot make up our afterlife, we can only choose which direction to take by what is already in place, hell or heaven
Although we cannot get to heaven on our own, no matter how hard we try or how good we are, Christ Jesus alone is qualified and knows the way, in fact he IS the way. all other paths lead to the other option, which is not a good one my friend.
"I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father (God in heaven) but through me" Book of john
We all know that if i closed my eyes in the middle of a train track, with an approaching train headed straight for me, no matter how hard i close my eyes and imagine that its not a train but a ball os soft fluffy cotton candy,, its not going to chang a thing
Soon enough the train will hit no matter what i belive.
Death alsom my friend, is inevitable, but thats not the end of us.
God "has planted eternity in our hearts" ecclesiasties.
Ill choose life, and the way and the truth
thanks for the question answer buddy.

If there is a Hell, one's opinion of it doesn't change the fact that it's there. For example, if you don't believe the White House exists, that doesn't change the fact that it does. Belief has no effect on actuality.
I believe there is a Hell, but I know I can't force you to believe that way; however, what either of us believes doesn't change whether or not it really does exist. I guess we'll find out.

No you won't go to Hell as it doesn't exist... The early Christians needed a "scare tactic" so they invented Hell and all the horrible things therein... It was conjured up to keep the "New Christians" bound to this "New Religion"... Have no fear of Hell Dear One, we all go to the same place when we die, irrespective of what your beliefs are.. We are all part of the Universe and the Universe is a big place with dimensions, planes and realms abundant..This is my belief and my beliefs are among the oldest known to mankind, on this Planet anyway.... Blessed Be

You can choose to believe that electricity and arsenic don't exist, but that doesn't mean that they still can't kill you. Same thing is true of whether or not you 'believe' in Hell. It still exists, and you can live a "good" life but still go there.
We can't buy our way into Heaven. . .the only means of salvation is by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me."
So a good life doesn't mean you've got a ticket to Heaven. Without the shed blood of Christ to atone for our sins, we are headed to Hell.

Dear Friend,
Just because you don't believe in something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
God did not create Hell for people and never intended them to go there.....He created it for the devil and his demons. However, if one chooses to reject God and the salvation offered by his Son, then one must go to Hell, the place of eternal separation from God and habitat of those who deny His existence. You do not go to Hell for just doing something wrong---we all do wrong things. One would only end up there upon death if he/she had rejected God.
