As sure as I believe that this question keeps popping up I do.
And like you say why not?
And for the answerer above me, I'd have a little faith in spell check. ~

I'm an agnostic theist: I believe that there may well be a God, based on personal and highly subjective experiences that I don't believe would constitute proof for anyone else (since they're not me and they didn't experience them), but I also know that I'm a fallible human being and that I could well be wrong.
That said, those subjective experiences have included feeling a profound presence of the Divine in both mundane and sacred contexts, as well as seeing prayers to the Divine produce what seem to be concrete results.
Meh. God is probably incomprehensible to human beings; what we think we see is most likely just a human projection onto an unknowable Divinity. If God exists at all...

Yes, I believe in God, and I do because he saved my babies even though I wasn't a Christian at the time. I had twin boys at 28 weeks one was born dead and the other very sick, many people came and prayed for my babies, the doctors said there was no hope not even for one to live. now my boys are 4 years old and I have since became a Christian and see how God works everyday. The doctors said it had to be our spirituality because there was no hope. My boys are the very best outcome the hospital has every seen. My ob can admit it was his fault my boys were born so early and sick and we couldn't sue him because no one has ever had this kind of outcome before. It was an act of God. He has also blessed one of my boys to crawl, and the therapists said that would never happen and now he is working on walking!!

Of coz i do.. there's too many unknowns in this world that there is no explanation and the only way u can actually stay sane is by believing there's some power that controls it... for example, how do u explain all the bad things that happens in ur life?... in my religion we believe that they are tests from GOD... if u dont believe it is, then u probably will curse ur luck.. how do u explain luck then?.. why do some people get it right the first time? Surely science alone is not enuff...

I used to he a hater of the Creator and now I am a lover of the Lord.
A young child can have intense hatred.
I experienced death and abuse.
I have never had the luxury of "not believing in God".
I knew he existed and I despised him.
It took l6 years to change my mind.
I can talk of my hatred toward God, because he knows.
He makes up for pain.
He has given me the desires of my heart, when I thought I wanted something more for my life.
I have 5 children, including twins.
I live in the most beautiful place on the earth.
I have a beautiful home on a river.
I have health and a wonderful husband.
I did not realize I wanted all these things until they started to happen.
I thought that I wanted fame and fortune when I was young.
I am finally truly grateful for the pain and suffering in my life.
The tragedy of my childhood , has brought me to this peaceful, happy ,fulfilling life.
I almost died this summer, I was told by a Doctor last month that my healing was "miraculous".
I study my bible and pray everyday.
God answers my prayers.
I enjoy my twin girls, they make me laugh everyday. They think that I am beautiful without makeup:)
Thank you for asking.
Peace out.

I do believe in God. I was brought up that way and now that i am older i can believe on my own. There is proof to believe in God. The Bible, the world around us, Jesus, and ourselves. There is more than just the Bible that Jesus exists. There have been other sources that say so. But the main thing is your own belief, not necessarily living proof.

Yes, probably because I was raised in a Christian home but even after multiple science degrees, I have never found a satisfactory explanation of the origins of the Earth and life on Earth. Without my belief, there really would be no point in living, no point in caring, and, really, everything would be pointless. I suppose like most people, I have a need to believe that life is not finite. That would be really sad.

I believe in God, the sole creator of the Universe. Why? Because I do. It's really hard to explain in a scientific sense but it's called faith. I just know in my heart that the Bible is real and that everything inside is the truth. I know in my heart that everything in the world has been created by him and for his glory. Whether or not anyone else does isn't for me to determine but I would only pray they would so they would know eternal love and salvation like I do. Like my family and friends do.

I believe in GOD, if it there were no GOD then life would be to easy. So when life gets hard we like to believe that there is a higher power that is taking care of us and protecting us. And if life were to easy we wouldn't need him. And if we didn't believe in a higher power when times are rough people would be so much worst.

It's hard to believe in something that no one knows for sure really existed. I think when they have DNA proof, I will believe. People turn to God when they think they have no one else to turn to, they blame god because they don't want to take responsibility for their actions. It's your life and you only get one so you have to make your own destiny. I'm not dismissing the whole God story, but no human has ever seen a dinosaur but we have proof that they existed. I just think that if it really happened there would be something to show for it.
